25.01.2022 Exciting to start seeing more production Ti Speciale’s out in the wild. Ross ordered this one from my USA dealer @abovecategory early on in the development process last year. Definitely worth the wait.

25.01.2022 Bruce’s Ti Mostro at sunset. Still confined to a 5km bubble here in Melbourne but lucky enough to still be flat out building. Fingers crossed adventures can start soon which should help with writing more creative captions. by @erik.son

25.01.2022 A selection of my favourite details on Ross’s build. Ripper build and photos by the team @abovecategory

25.01.2022 Ti Speciale rim for @abovecategory Contrast of matte root beer titanium anodising with the brushed teal and brushed metal is super unique. Always fun to work with Liam from @ninevoltcolour with the help on the masking from Ian @thelostworkshop

24.01.2022 The heart of the Ti Speciale. 3D printed titanium lug meets butted and ovalised top tube and in house laminated pre preg carbon ISP. Happy Friday to all my fellow Melburnians who if they are lucky enough will be starting to enjoy their hard earned freedoms after months of lockdown. I’m just starting to get back into normal production after delays due to part manufacture and people not being able to travel for fittings, feels good to be back at it.... @erik.son

23.01.2022 One gear, many speeds. @erik.son

15.01.2022 Custom all Ti Speciale for Rob. Triple butted seat tube with the new Prova Ti seat post in place of the usual topper. Still in lockdown here in Melbourne and continue to feel very lucky to be able to keep making bikes. Fingers crossed we can get out of this soon.

13.01.2022 XCr Mostro for Hideyuki Toyota beige and stripe paint detail with satin blasted raw back end. CK matte bourbon headset

08.01.2022 Big shout-out to Ian of @thelostworkshop for weeding and applying this masking around the inside of the front triangle. It was certainly faster to remove after media blasting! @erik.son

08.01.2022 Bespoke dropout meets the fanciest from @campagnolosrl The second Ti Speciale to come out of @abovecategory this month is one for the rim brake crowd

08.01.2022 Turned the welder off for the last time in 2020 today and taking a couple of weeks break for the first time in a few years. #goneriding

07.01.2022 I think Ed might like titanium a little bit. Custom @mootscycles stem with @ninevoltcolour detail. @canecreekusa eewing cranks ... @erik.son

05.01.2022 XCr Mostro for Hideyuki Plenty of mounting points and external routing for maximum utility while exploring

04.01.2022 The one that got away! I built this as a personal bike for the show but someone else fell in love with it! Can’t wait to show you what I’m building in it’s place

04.01.2022 My target for the development of the Ti road chainstay was to match some of the characteristics of the lovely Colombus Life steel stay. It resulted in a 25.4 tube being butted externally, ovalised and s-bent, all done in house. Here they are paired with my flat mount dropouts on Robs Speciale.

03.01.2022 Ti Speciale Rim for @abovecategory Featuring some very unique ti anodising processes to create something mad. @ninevoltcolour ... @thelostworkshop
