19.01.2022 ASBK ROUND 1 RACE REPORT Round 1 of the 2020 ASBK series has been run and won. The Proworx/Blayney Motorcycles team had an up and down weekend of racing but ultimately it ended well. Held in conjunction with the first round of the 2020 World Superbike Championship, the ASBK riders were performing in front of possibly the largest spectator crowds of the year. That they performed so well was a great tribute to the team and our sponsors....Continue reading

08.01.2022 Podium for Luke Power Proworx Ninja 400 ASBK rounds 2&3. Wakefield Park

06.01.2022 Top weekend for PROWORX at the StGeorge State RR Champioships at SMSP. Our usual rider lineup of 4 was reduced to 1 ( Corona Victoria casualties) however our sole ace ZYLAS BUNTING held the fort and produced the goods on the Proworx Ninja 400. Zy rode dry and wet races with skill and maturity. Starts we’re second to none and reaction time excellent. 1st in class and 2nd overall in category ( Zy had 650s and 4cylinder 400s to contend with). ... The PROWORX Kawasaki performed faultlessly all weekend thanks to IAN BRUCE ( BLAYNEY M/C ) & ROB HODGSON (WELL SPRUNG M/C SUSPENSION) These two are the best in the business and are an integral part of the PROWORX team. Thanks # ST GEORGE M/C for hosting a great weekend and a special thanks to officials and flaggies for enduring the poor conditions. Proworx is looking forward to having the whole team back together and racing out the year. #Proworx #Blayneymcycles #Wellsprungmcsuspension #penrite #Rawhideleathers #whitesracingproducts #LS2helmets #mickmuldoonmcycles #Kawasaki See more

03.01.2022 Winton round of ASBK was a mixed bag for the PROWORX team. Restricted preparation was a major problem but the team excelled regardless. Riders Zy Bunting and Peter Nerlich performed well on the Ninja 400s with fast times but the Ninjas in their present state of restriction are struggling against the R3s at the shorter tracks. Good ride by the boys under difficult cicumstances. The Supersport class was a big success for the team campaigning the Kawasaki ZX6Rs. Luke Power and ...Noel Mahon aboard. Noel rode hard all weekend and bagged PBs every ride. Luke Power ended 4th in the Supersport point score after two blistering races beating experienced seasoned competitors and rode hard on the heals of the podium riders setting a cracking pace on a bike he had ridden once previously in 1 test. The result reflects an outstanding performance by the riders and team. Crew chief Ian Bruce, Suspension tech Rob Hodgson , Mechanic Ian Whitehead and Team Manager Mark Watson kept the bikes running the best they could be. Great effort by a Professional team. Sights on Wakefield Park round middle of April now. 03.01.2022 What a week, and what a way to finish this crazy year that has been 2020. We started this year in great form. The team was competitive at Round 1 of the ASBK and we left Phillip Island with young Luke Power in 3rd place in the Championship standings. Unfortunately, then the wheels fell off the year. Virus lockdowns and race cancellation after cancellation left us with no further chances to race as a team. Small windows of opportunity allowed us to hire Winton in June for a te...Continue reading

02.01.2022 PROWORX Racing conducted a full day of testing and development last Thursday, 11th June, at Winton Raceway. The day was the first chance the team has had since early March to get on the bikes and get cracking again. It was decided that the best way to get out on track again was to hire the circuit for the team, as there were very few restrictions we were required to comply with, and it was the only way that the team could meet completely. Current restrictions at ride-days do ...not allow for any technicians or other team personnel to attend, thus making these types of days, a non-event for testing. The day began cold but clear and dry. A great start to a winter’s morning in Victoria, but with the sun breaking through the mist early it led to a fine and pleasant day for fast riding. And ride fast they did. Starting off with a base setting from Wakefield Park, the boys soon got up to speed and the first alteration was to gearing, looking to find more punch off the corners and better top-end speed on the straight. Suspension tweaks were tried by a couple of the boys and then a major set-up change was instigated by Rob, one that he had been researching and planning for a while. First change was to Zy’s bike and he immediately reported a significant improvement in the handling of the bike. Luke’s and Joe’s bikes were next, and the entire team was circulating now at race pace. Noel’s bike was last to be set up as he had been spending the day getting back up to speed riding for the first time since November 2019. At the end of the day, Zy and Joe had both set new PB’s and Luke was easily circulating at race pace with more in reserve. Noel put in a full day and although a bit stiff and sore, he managed to get back to competitive times. Having achieved a good set up on the 400’s, it was time for Luke to break out the R6. He amazes with his ability to hop straight onto the bigger, much more powerful and definitely quicker bike and immediately get in some good fast laps. His style and speed already bode well for the step up to the 600 Supersport Class. Zy was also lucky to get a couple of sessions on the 600 and was also impressed by it. Look out for him also stepping up in the future. At the conclusion of the day all riders were tired but happy with the results achieved. Some minor adjustments still need to be tried but we have an excellent base setting now for the track and we are all eagerly looking forward to the race meeting in September.
