25.01.2022 No great success was ever achieved without failure.

25.01.2022 If there is one thing that we see demolishing pipes and plumbing systems around the eastern suburbs, its tree roots! Trees need water to flourish and they are experts at sniffing it out and when they find it (usually in your pipes) they establish an elaborate home of roots that wreck havoc on your drainage and potentially, your sewer system. Read the full blog for the list of trees which should not be planted near your pipes: >>>Read it on the blog now: ... https://proximityplumbing.com.au/trees-you-should-avoid-pl/

24.01.2022 You wont always have the answers, or be able to provide advice to the person- In fact, sometimes its better not to give advice & just be there for them. Some problems are too big for mates and family to solve and they need professional help but with a simple phone call it can make all the difference, not only today but everyday- it might not make a change to your life but it can to someone elses.

24.01.2022 Meet Josh- The senior plumber, the guy that abbreviates every single word, the jokester of the team & by far one of the most ambitious & goal driven humans we have ever come across. You can’t just employe anyone when you work within a small team, you have to really get along with them as you work & talk to them more than you probably would to your partner!... Josh is the type of guy to message everyone in a group chat at 4am to make sure the boys have shovels for a 6am start & the type of guy to find common ground with any client - to put it simply our team wouldn’t be the same without him.

23.01.2022 You have permission to use the dishwasher! You heard right; sack those dishes! Did you know: by hand-washing your dishes you use almost doubles the amount of water a dishwasher uses? Those pesky machines have trumped us again with their smarts. This is one chore you can gladly hand over to them. You use less hot water by running your dishwasher only when it’s full and by choosing shorter, economy wash cycles. So, make sure that baby is fully stacked.... This is just one of many water-saving and repurposing tips we share via the Proximity Plumbing blog, check out the full list here: https://proximityplumbing.com.au/how-to-save-water-in-summ/ See more

Wasting time matters a lot as it communicates to others whether they can trust and rely upon us.

19.01.2022 Yes! I’d Love A $499 Pipe Inspection For Free! This is not a gimmick or a false advertisement! Proximity Plumbing is offering a completely free, no-obligation pipe inspection with a CCTV drain camera to inspect what’s going on with your consistent blocked drains. PLUS, we’ll even give you a permanent solution plan with our recommendations for your pipes. Why Are We Offering To Inspect Your Pipes For Free?... Over the last seven years of servicing our eastern suburbs clients, we’ve seen A LOT! One of the most common issues our team deals with is clearing consistently blocked drains. If left unchecked, consistently blocked drains can wreak havoc on a property’s whole plumbing system, usually because there’s an underlying reason why they keep getting blocked! Most of the time, the beautiful leafy green trees which line our eastern suburbs streets are to blame. Tree root infiltration is a serious issue and with a quick CCTV pipe inspection, we’ll be able to tell you (and show you) if any tree roots have made a home in your pipe system. What’s The Process Involved In The Pipe Inspection? 1. One of our qualified experts will inspect your drains with a CCTV drain camera. 2. We allow for 30 min consultation and there will be no charge for this time only. 3. After the inspection, we will provide you with an easy-to-follow, cost-effective solution to resolve any blocked drain issues you may be experiencing. 4. If pipe relining is recommended we’ll take you through what that means, and why we are recommending it. 5. If pipe relining is not the best option for you, we will be completely honest and offer you the best solution to suit your needs. Before you book your free pipe inspection, read this article for an understanding of why your drains are blocking; what is pipe relining; and how it can help in the long term maintenance of your property’s pipes. Instead of constantly clearing blocked drains, how about you look at what’s causing the drains to block and let us help you solve the problem once and for all? >> Read the full article now: https://proximityplumbing.com.au/%f0%9f%93%9d-free-solutio/

12.01.2022 Sydney Water claims 75 per cent of sewer blockages involve wet wipes. Part of the problem is that, once flushed, wipes are anonymous and the blame for blockages cannot be laid at a specific owners door. Let’s remember: pee, poop & paper.

10.01.2022 I know we have all been inspired to cook more during ISO- you know how I know? because we have had an increase with blocked kitchen wastes. The old ill just dispose of cooking oil down the sink is not the correct way or eco-friendly way to dispose of it. Over time the oil & fats will stick to the pipework & in turn block your pipes & surcharge all kind of nasties - swipe to see the end result not cool I know. ... Tip 1: use coconut oil or avocado oil - its better for you Tip 2: if you are making chicken snitty put your oil in an old plastic container and dispose of it that way, freeze in & then wait till bin day to dispose of it.
