23.01.2022 Are you taking time out to re connect to your self? It's so important to make sure we are looking after our self, not just looking after our babies. We can often forget about what we need when we are consumed with looking after others. Self care doesn't have to be days away or hours away, it can be as simple as making sure you stop and go out side and finish that hot cuppa, or stop and sit and loose your self in a good book. It can be what ever you want it to be. Just remember..... Taking care of yourself is part of taking care of your kids. Comment below on what do you do for yourself?

02.01.2022 This is me every school holidays! I love not having a routine during the holidays, no school lunches, no uniforms to worry about etc.... But I do love getting back to the "norm" There's something about a routine that feels calming. Babies and toddlers also like routines. It gives a sense of security and stability.... They get to feel safe and secure in their environment. They learn what's expected of them as their environment is more predictable. This doesn't mean you need to be rigid and stuck at home... routines can be flexible too..... Like following a feed, play sleep routine works wonders for our little ones. Being flexible for the things you need to do but having nap routines and bedtime rituals lets them know what to expect. They learn to read your bed time cues and make it alot easier for everyone.....
