05.01.2022 Light Painting In the Garden with David Magro Optional event on: Saturday Evening 2nd May 2020 6.30pm... Saturday night on our program is optional, but you won’t want to miss it. Meadowlands Ampitheatre at the Botanic Gardens is a unique outdoor entertainment venue for our smorgasboard of food and light painting. A buffet dinner under the stars starts at 6.30pm, followed by light painting by the intriguing photographer David Magro. David specialises in capturing the night sky so he’ll be in his environment painting unusual images with light for you to capture. You can purchase water and softdrinks at the event. Tickets are $30 per person and you can drive yourself or car pool, parking is available near the sound shell. The venue is a 10 minute drive from the City Centre. 01.01.2022 OPTIONAL EVENT SUNRISE AT CAPE HILLSBOROUGH Sunday Morning Early 3rd May 2020 5.00am... Sunday morning is a free sunrise beach shoot with Glen McKimmin and Rod Thomas. This will be an experience like no other. Cape Hillsborough is renowned for its spectacular sunrises. Not only for the vast array of hues that colour the sky but for the greeting you get from the eastern grey kangaroos and wallabies that make their way to the beach front for their morning feed. An unforgettable picture-perfect photo opportunity. Bus pickup will be at 5am at the convention venue in time for sunrise at 6.20am. The bus will leave Cape Hillsborough at 7.30am to be back at the venue in time for a delicious sausage sizzle breakfast at 8.30am.
