Almost a third of those who connected with our @_Moneycare_ service since April were affected by circumstan...ces outside of their control. 29% sought assistance because of COVID-19 and bushfires. 79% reported improved mental health after receiving assistance. 68% experienced positive progress in personal wellbeing. 67% said they no longer had debt problems. I’d encourage anyone who’s worried about their financial situation to reach out. You have more options than you think,’ says Kristen Hartnett, Salvation Army Moneycare Financial Counsellor.
