Who would have thought that within such a short period of time we would be virtually home bound (although we are lucky to be able to still enjoy the beach under the guise of exercise). I have put my practice on pause. But, to fill the gap, I am offering bulk - billed phone or whatsapp video sessions (for those with mental health care plans). 04.01.2022 Everyone has one. The Inner Critic. The voice within that is quick to judge us the minute we make a mistake. The best way I've learned how to deal with the Inner Critic is to resist. Fight back. Tell that critical voice in your head to Shut UP! I like to go into my time machine and go back to a time when I heard those words from a parent or others and then confront them - say what you want to say to them: Don’t speak to her like that! Stop it! Then comfort and console the... little one: You’re a good little girl, I love you! Recogise: The way your caregivers treated you is the way you tend to treat yourself. The way your caregivers protected and loved you is the way you tend to protect and love yourself. Let that sink in..then make an intention to treat yourself in the most healthy way possible. Change the old neural pathways from the negative, critical voice to the positive, nurturing, loving voice. Start by noticing what you do right. Notice when you are being your higher self. Notice when others recognize the goodness in you. And when the critical voice buts in, tell it to get lost and dis-identify from it. The truth is: You are not that voice! It is a recording of old voices from the past. It is not you! Remember, you will have to repeat the above many, many times in order to erase the old critical tapes. It’s definitely worth the effort. 04.01.2022 When faced with a decision on which way to go, remember, you have an internal barometer that helps you find your way. If the energy feels positive, uplifting, exciting, and safe, explore that path. If the energy feels negative, walk away. If you get a mixture of positive and negative, just wait. Now is not the right time.

03.01.2022 Good tips for home isolation

03.01.2022 Waterfalls hold high energy and are beautiful places in nature where we can cleanse our own energy field. If you can't get to a real waterfall, just close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and imagine you can see one. Then imagine the sun is shining and it's warm outside, warm enough to step into the pool of water beneath the falls. Slowly move closer to the waterfall until you can step under it and feel the rush of water over your head. Think about the things in your life ...that have "had their day," and imagine the water washing them away. Keep releasing and cleansing yourself of anything you want to be free of....a toxic relationship, an addiction, old wounds, any baggage you're carrying, any secret you're holding, any disappointments, old grudges, fears and hurts....just imagine it all washing away under the waterfall. Let it all go. Be free. *you can repeat this every morning as a daily cleanse. Do it in the shower or during your meditation time.
