23.01.2022 PSA: It's the time of year when quite a few clients are reaching the Medicare Safety Net and receiving extra large rebates (eg. $173.25 rebated from $195 fee) when they have a Mental Health Care Plan (or Chronic Disease Management Plan). The Safety Net: In a calendar year, once you have spent a certain amount 'out-of-pocket' on certain medical expenses, Medicare will rebate 80+% for these medical expenses for the rest of the calendar year. You can find out if you've reached the Safety Net by contacting Medicare on 132011. Check the link below for more info.
