23.01.2022 We all have a need to feel important and valued. When we don't feel an opportunity is there to have that need meet in a peaceful, positive way - we most certainly find alternatives. It starts in some forms of childhood tantrums. Let's choose to look underneath a behaviour today. Love and hugs ... Psychology Central www.psychology-central.com.au

21.01.2022 Ohhhh another one im loving atm! Thank you Byron Katie I had a new client yesterday, soooo frustrated about not having the prescribed solution readily available. Soon after, she was walking through her discomfort & discovered her first step. Yayyy!!! At the end, she told me that she hadn't wanted a prescribed solution, but her own one ( i knew this). 16.01.2022 So nice to be around the attitude of gratitude this Christmas ....from one of my wonderful ladies, dedicated to personal growth & bright visions for the future. Thank you! 16.01.2022 So well put together Thank youBianca Jadee I think that grief is (one of the) rawest of emotions. It is unique, life changing & at its core - completely naked. We (try to) do so much to run, hide & distract from it but how well does that work? Like in Africa, in my homeland - grief is often howled and wailed out. It makes emotional sense to me. What is your experience?... With love and hugs Psychology Central www.psychology-central.com.au

11.01.2022 Exactly! Everyday in sessions and in my own life - im working on some form of Inner Critic. The blame-maker, guilt-erer, the Bully - whatever form it takes - it originates in early life and we have developed it by internalizing someone elses' voice/s. So rather than give in or give up, let's engage in conversations, questioning of & negotiations with these parts of ourselves- so we can achieve better outcomes in life and with our emotions (it can actually be fun! Today, in... one of the session we played with it by taking on a role of a Superhero ) Love and hugs Psychology Central www.psychology-central.com.au

09.01.2022 Interestingly, i saw someone couple of weeks ago who was verbally attacked by a colleague only to be asked: " What did you do to provoke (them)?" How do we STILL victim blame? What ownership is the verbally abusive person talking, in that equation? How do we still think that somehow, one's violence is another's doing?!! Please consider this - we ALWAYS have a choice about how we conduct ourselves and how we do - is ALWAYS our business only.... Love and hugs Psychology Central www.psychology-central.com.au

07.01.2022 Today i had a privilege of talking with a beautiful girl, surrounded by so much suffering....Sometimes we don't realise how much our suffering can weigh others down - and put them in a position where they may feel guilty, responsible or sorry for us. If instead, we take care of our own suffering (ie learn to manage our emotions, get out of victim mode, hold our power with grace, ask for help and advice) - it liberates us to do and be more, for ourselves and those around us. ... 02.01.2022 (Please notice that i am talking about my own and client's TIMELY experiences and not in any way minimizing traumas of any kind ) While i primarily focus on compassion and hearing the person's story (and walk very carefully through any trauma) - it is so beautiful to come to a place of trust and rapport to be able to challenge clients to really look at themselves/ their stories with an open heart. In the process of working on myself, after a whole heap of compassion - i was ...so hungry for a confrontation with my truths. This is where i really got to improve and grow. Its definitely not pain-free but just like exercise - oh so worth it. With love and hugs Psychology Central www.psychology-central.com.au

01.01.2022 I love The Work - it's excellent once you've had a healthy dose of self compassion to start with.
