12.02.2022 It seems like an eternity since the last post but it's deck season..... What a pleasure doing a job for such a wonderful family with an eye for detail. The old pine deck was rotting away, with boards lifting and nails every where. The rebuild threw out a few unexpected problems, but nothing we couldn't handle. ... I especially like the picture framing of all the posts and the simple use of metal balustrading framed with merbau. Looks fantastic and the neighbours are still talking about it.

07.02.2022 Rotting timber can be unsightly but most importantly, it can lead to leaks throughout the home causing upwards of tens of thousands of damage throughout the property. With water damage one of the highest insurance claims denied due to no or poor ongoing home maintenance, it is a good idea to be proactive. The timber was so rotten on this weatherboard that we had to replace every piece along with the fascia. The owner believes that this relatively cost-effective solution was well worth it as it looks great and delivers piece of mind.
