25.01.2022 So as everyone already knows, every gym, every fitness centre, every sporting facility.. just everything has been shut down. Its been a wildly testing time mentally, having to let go of what youve worked hard to build, change things and try and make it as best you can in the current situation. Ive actually started up Strength Squad virtually also. If youre housebound, but would still like to be able to train, Ive got you covered. Virtual Class Passes are $40 per week. ...You get unlimited access to the available sessions each week where I coach you on Zoom. Its a weird world we are currently living in, but this is open to anyone in any state, or even country because were all connected these days. Please message me if youd like to get started! T x

25.01.2022 A little testimonial from my best mate Jeff - You may know me as Jeff, Tamzin's little sister, the lazy gal with weird socks who trains with ByTamzin. But what you don't know is that I didn't start training with Tamzin all those years ago just because she was my sister. It was purely because I knew how good of a trainer she was, her dedication to her trade, her wealth of knowledge on fitness, health, well-being and nutrition is second to none. I've seen first hand how much sh...e lives, loves and breathes her job and line of work, in the hope of just trying to better her clients, people around her and herself. - This hasn't come easy and Tamzin has worked extremely hard to build her brand and business from the ground up to where it is today. Even through these unprecedented times, she has worked tirelessly to try and make sure she can still train her clients, cater to everyones needs and to show that nothing will stop her. - During COVID-19, I have had mobile training sessions where Tamzin comes to my house to train me outdoors even with minimal equipment, I still got that post gym burn! And now I am doing her virtual training sessions and they are awesome! You get to interact with Tamzin while she coaches you throughout the whole session, interact with other Strength Squad members and of course, get your daily dose of being a sweaty mess! - Strength Squad is an amazing community that Tamzin has built and Im glad to be a part of! One thing I know for sure, as lazy as I am and as much as I tell her I don't want to do something; ByTamzin training works and you will see the results you are after if you watch, listen and learn! You wont regret it and your money will be well spent investing in your fitness, health & well being - so come join the squad! - #realptsofmelbourne

25.01.2022 If you cover your head while working out you can prevent the RONA and birds cant peck your brain out #winwin #oldcontent #stillrelevantright

25.01.2022 TESTIMONIAL - My name is Willa.. @willa.gsd on the GRAM and I am the official hype queen for @ptbytamzin s zoom strength squad. ... - My Mums have been training via zoom since this new covid-19 life came along. I enjoy this because it means I can spend more time with them. - My hype routine includes licking faces during planks, giving sit up paws and hallway zoomies for squats. - I would highly recommend Tamzins classes for other fur families out there or just anyone trying to stay fit while isolating at home. You can get a great workout with a very knowledgeable & encouraging coach and see my cute face and hype antics - Willa

24.01.2022 Running away from the Rona like... #byeyall

24.01.2022 TheClient of the Month for November is the ever-sassy, @kat_______r - From the day we went into lockdown, Kat was straight into my online classes. Kat lost both her sources of income at the start of thelockdown nolonger being able to work either of her jobs, but knew how important training was for her mental health and physical health. I knowthat this lockdown has been so tough for Kat, with her family and partner's family being all the way in SA, unable to see them ...all yearuntil this week when restrictions were eased and the borders to SA opened. - Kat and her partner Erin were due to get married this weekend in SA, but thanks to lockdown this meant they had to postpone their dream day. I know how much this wedding has meant to the both of them, but I'm so glad they were still able to go over and see family this week, even if the wedding is on hold until next year. - Kat, I am so proud of you. You had so many lonely days at home and I know ho hard all of this hit you, so I am so proud of the progress you made in lockdown, not just physically..like fitting into your DREAM DRESS, but mentally too. You've shown yourself that no matter how hard things get, you are always able to come out on top. - Love you so much! Here's to 2021 being the best year ever! I can't wait to watch you and Erin get married next year.

24.01.2022 My super cool mum @suimaileong just smashing her first session with me in her home gym

24.01.2022 If you didnt know, that girl in the back is the hype queen of all our zoom group training sessions and she likes to do zoomies on camera #dailyentertainment #willagirl

24.01.2022 Set this up for somewhere to work when outdoor PT was allowed back in June, probably worked in it two weeks before there was a knock on the door from an anonymous report that I was operating an illegal gym #goodtimesgreatclassichits - So I just continued to run a successful online business instead and still do. Thanks to those who supported my business through all the Covid Crap, you rock. Now we say goodbye to Rowville for good ... - Big thanks to my mum @suimaileong for letting me set this up in your backyard this year, you pretty much had your own personal outdoor gym for half of iso because I couldn’t use it or even visit you - What’s next for me? Who knows, but hopefully 2021 has something cool waiting. - Still running online PT/group training for anyone interested

23.01.2022 Winter Vibin @jharemedia - What a world we live in where it can be 20 degrees and sunny and then about 8 degrees and thunderstorms in 0.3 of a second in all seriousness though, make sure you stay warm, keep feeding your body nutritious things and stay healthy! - #melbtings

21.01.2022 A little more love from one of my best friends in the whole world @kat_______r - My life has absolutely changed in such a fundamental way since I met Tamzin. I dont know how to even put into words how grateful I am! ... - Shes become so much more than my trainer and I am so lucky to know her, I cant imagine a life without her now. She is super inspiring as a best friend, a business woman and exercise and training genius. - I began training with Tamzin in January 2019 & right from the start I knew Id made the absolute best decision. Just talking with her you can tell how knowledgeable and passionate she is about what she does. I can guarantee that if you want someone to push you beyond what you ever thought you were capable of then she is IT. Period. - She gives you her absolute everything when you train and she will get you there, my mental and physical health is the best its even been my entire life and I have Tamzin to thank for that. Blessed my life in many ways. - When COVID-19 hit us we all felt a bit lost to begin with, how was it going to work. No one knew. The way Tamzin adapted her business and training to operate online via Zoom and still safely provide one on one training was amazing to see! - I have always trained one on one with Tamzin, but I have transitioned into her virtual Strength Squad Zoom workouts every week and its honestly the best part of my day! The community shes created are all strong, kind, funny and supportive women and I couldnt recommend it enough! You will feel instantly better after every class, even though she will push you hard! - If you are feeling flat and miss the gym or training at all then dont hesitate, Tamzin will change your whole outlook on home workouts, exercise and mindset, get in contact with her to book in! #realptsofmelbourne

20.01.2022 Back in the day when old m8 @adzy.0 pulled 120 off the floor at GL. What a time Adam is still doing 1:1 training with me mobile at this time and I appreciate his loyalty as a client after all these years. Pretty proud of you, you legend! Keep on killing life

19.01.2022 Ahh, the level of sass was real in this morning’s LIFTS session @j_hare @kat_______r @danielle_.dee - As you can see though, everyone has something different on their program. Kat is working on some overall strength and conditioning on a lighter load, Dee is in hardcore prep for her wedding in March and Jessie is working on some landing mechanics for netball. ... - #FocusOnYourOwnGoals

19.01.2022 Were living in a crazy, mixed up world right now. My zoom classes are still going, still growing and still filling up, which is pretty exciting! - Ive had a few new ladies join in this week and its been awesome to see some new faces too! Ive been loving building this little community of strong women who all just get along so well, who support each other and put their physical and mental health first ... - If youd like to join my Virtual Strength Squad, please shoot me a message. Id love to hear from you! - #grateful #virtualstrengthsquadbytamzin

18.01.2022 Perks of training friends outdoors at their house #WillaGirl

18.01.2022 And that’s a wrap! What an amazing first week at operation Alfresco Mum Gym I’m so incredibly grateful for this space and for everyone that has supported me this week -... My first week I was almost fully booked out with Strength Squad and 1:1 sessions and next week is set to be pretty great too with mornings nearly fully booked already thanks to all my teacher gals on holidays - What a week

18.01.2022 You probably couldn’t get a more loyal client and friend than this lovely lady @anna_devas Comes down from Sydney for a long weekend, books a session in for her last day in Melbs. A fleeting but wonderful visit. Looking forward to a longer visit in March when we can actually sit down and have coffee and food together

16.01.2022 A little something that isolation has taught me - Id previously been doing way too much. I overloaded myself and felt guilty for not having the work that I had before all of this happened. ... - Realistically, running a business is more than a full time job. I know how many hours I put into work during the week, I know how many hours outside of those contact hours are spent planning, budgeting, goal setting and doing other admin tasks. It is very easy to be consumed by your career when you love it. - What Ive realised is what I was doing was not sustainable. Working 7 days a week (taking into account the admin and planning), and being constantly available to everyone was very taxing and is something Ive decided I will no longer be doing. - I love what I do, but I also love that Ive found time for myself in all of this. Time for my family and for my friends. This means that if I dont respond to client messages or calls instantaneously, Im not ignoring anyone, Im reserving the downtime I have for my nearest and dearest and for myself. - Im working hard now to find a healthy balance between my work and personal life before restrictions are dialled back. Please respect that as a business owner, we also need time to ourselves. Time to chill out so we dont lose the love of what we do because we feel like we need to be constantly available. - Lots of Love, T x

16.01.2022 Another testimonial from another bestie - Not only is Tamzin my sister, but shes also the one person I trust to kick my butt into shape when I need it and get me out of my comfort zone. I really respect her knowledge and passion for what she does and I know she will always keep me accountable.... - Joining her Strength Squad was an easy decision for me. Not only was it affordable but it is such a great little fitness community. - Being able to see Tamzins vision for her business come alive and be part of it has been amazing. Covid-19 threw a spanner in the works but she changed her whole business model so that she could continue keeping her clients a priority. - Earlier this year I moved from Melbourne to Townsville and not being able to go to the gym and be part of Strength Squad hit pretty hard because I felt like I was finally making some progress and enjoying going to the gym and working out again. So, Tamzin wrote me a program every week and reviewed my videos of my workouts to keep me accountable and make sure I was doing everything right. Now, I take part in at least five Zoom classes with her Strength Squad and its the one thing keeping me sane during this pandemic. - I cant wait to keep kicking goals now, and when this pandemic is over with the ByTamzin community. - Ps. Also cant wait to rep my ByTamzin merch in sunny Townsville

Youre all incredible people and Im so blessed to have you all in my life - This is just a little snap from this morning where Willa could hear @mstranga dogs barking so we had a little pooch choir this morning you cant h...ear the barking because I had headphones on, but how cute are the Willa head tilts - Thank you for this morning @anna_devas @kat_______r @erin_bennett15 @sneha.gop @mstranga - If you do want to join us for virtual group training please shoot me a message! - #dogsmaketheworldabetterplace

12.01.2022 So with the latest announcements from today, there wont be any change to my current services. - While there is a proposed date that Dan Andrews has said gyms will re-open (22nd June), there is actually no confirmation that this will happen or any guidelines on how this will look yet. So Im not jumping the gun and letting everyone know that Ill be re-opening, Ill be waiting to see what that looks like and continuing to provide quality service with the cards we are curren...tly being dealt. Hopefully we will get to re-open and I can share some new, exciting things with you all, but until I know what that looks like Im not making any promises. - T x

12.01.2022 Double Choc Chip Protein Cookies - INGREDIENTS... 150g self raising flour 40g brown sugar 2 scoops @atpscience Chocolate NOWAY 2 1/2 tbs almond milk 3 tbs EVOO 25g each milk and white choc chips Sprinkle of salt (I just use pink Himalayan) 1/4 tsp vanilla - METHOD 1 Preheat oven to 150C 2 Mix together all ingredients except chocolate chips until a dough is formed. It goes a bit dry initially but comes together fine if you keep mixing. You can use your hands once all the ingredients are combined to roll into a big ball of cookie dough. 3 Roll into little balls and flatten them out a little on the trays. Give them space because they spread a little. (My mix made 13 cookies) 4 Bake for 15mins. Let them cool for 10mins before taking them off the trays.

05.01.2022 Those post workout chats and laughs @j_hare @danielle_.dee - Sometimes training isn’t actually just about the workout, sometimes it’s about the people you do it with and the support we give each other ... - #strengthsquadbytamzin

05.01.2022 Only Pa would have celebrated Chinese New Year having an Aussie Barbecue today we sent off this legend in style. Lots of laughs and some tears, but most of all beautiful memories. I wrote this poem and read it today, after I asked all my cousins (the grandkids) for a favourite memory with Pa. -... ‘Hello Everyone’ was the greeting he would share At every family gathering so you’d know he was there. He was also a fashion icon He dressed like a bit of a dag But we all loved his outfits Teamed with a fresh bum bag He never forgot a birthday There was always a homemade card Sometimes the names and ages were wrong There were so many of us, so it was probably hard There were many times spent Picking Feijoas off the trees And making homemade wontons at the table With cushions for our knees Time spent in the garden Was always really cool We used to pick petals off flowers To try and use them as fuel Pa lived around the corner from Kinder Some of us were lucky he picked us up Hand in hand you’d walk home And get a drink from your favourite sippy cup. He loved to spend time with us Coming to Grandparents Day and more We loved to play slap hands together Until our hands were sore. Many games of chess were played Where it was checkmate in 10 moves No matter what you did, he’d chuckle Then you’d lose. Gifts were sometimes common You never knew what you’d get But a custom sticker on an album Was always a safe bet. Trips to the country A favourite past time He would even forget his money for the footy Just to cut in line As Pa got older The animal collection started With random reptiles and birds around He’d have any unwelcome guests outsmarted Pa’s place was our favourite Full of tim tams and love We’ll miss you down here, Pa Keep smiling with Nana up above. #bumbagforlife

05.01.2022 This woman is a godsend @suimaileong A new chapter starts for me tomorrow and mum has given me the space to start this. Excited, nervous, but pretty pumped. - Thanks for supporting everything I do, Ma. For always encouraging us (@_caseyhare @j_hare ) to do the things that make us happy. I love you, see you tomorrow.. and everyday after that - #mumgoals

05.01.2022 A little blast from the past from August 2018 for @lozmac8 with a little baby sumo at 117.5kg.. just so yall know Im Feb this year she pulled 140kg off the floor in a conventional deadlift.. what a machine. I miss watching you lift heavy things, but Im enjoying watching you suffer on zoom

04.01.2022 And thats a wrap! What an amazing first week at operation Alfresco Mum Gym Im so incredibly grateful for this space and for everyone that has supported me this week -... My first week I was almost fully booked out with Strength Squad and 1:1 sessions and next week is set to be pretty great too with mornings nearly fully booked already thanks to all my teacher gals on holidays - What a week

04.01.2022 Annnnd cue awkward giraffe doing awkward things on camera.. @jharemedia - In all seriousness though, there are a few things Ive learned from this isolation period, particularly from a work life balance perspective. ... - It became evident to me pretty early on during ISO that I actually worked too much. Id worked myself to a point where on a Friday night all Id want to do is eat dinner at 5:30pm, and curl up in bed by 7:30pm and go to sleep.. and I thought that was just normal because I worked so hard. Being a business owner and a coach isnt as glamorous as it is made out to be. For me, it used to be 4am wake-ups for 5:30am starts. Id work, 5-6 hours straight with clients, Id eat and then go to my own coaching session, Id fit in admin for my business, client queries, client programming, cooking etc in that window of a few hours and Id be back at work for another 3-4 hours of sessions then Id be home at 8pm to eat cook/ eat dinner. When you factor this into a normal day it actually gave me no down time. 0. I looked forward to my training time because that was when Id see my friends. I never went out for dinner during the week with family or friends because I always had to be up so early and I felt like I was constantly chasing enough sleep. Also not sustainable. - Im done with running my days from 4am-8pm. Im done with the idea that you have to hustle hard and work yourself to the bone to be successful. You dont need to do this to be a success, you just need to determine what success means to you. - Success to me now is: - Working within realistic hours for my physical/mental wellbeing. - Being excited when invited to family/friend events because I actually have the mental space and time, instead of being completely exhausted and having to leave early because I have too much work to do. - Being able to say no to things when I know I need my own time for self-care or when I just want to sit on the couch and watch Netflix and draw Pokémon.. - Being present and filling my life with all the things and people I love

04.01.2022 From little things, big things grow. Excited for what this new little chapter has to offer. Excited to see you all again, face to face. Forever grateful for my wonderful mum @suimaileong letting me take over her indoor/outdoor area to continue to provide a premium service and keep on changing lives. Monday 22nd cant come any faster

03.01.2022 Pretty stoked with how this experiment turned out. - BLENDER PROTEIN PANCAKES ... 1 banana 1/2 cup self raising flour 2 eggs 1/4 tsp vanilla 1/4 tsp cinnamon 2 scoops @atpscience NOWAY whatever flavour you like (you can use any protein here - but 36g is the perfect amount) 2 1/2 tbs milk of your choice - METHOD 1. Preheat a non-stick pan over low to medium heat. 2. Put all of your ingredients into a blender or food processor. I use my NutriBullet it works well. Sometimes you’ll end up with a bit of the dry ingredients around the sides but just mix it all in with a spoon. 3. Pour your desired pancake size onto your pan. Wait until bubbles start to form on top before flipping. Sometimes I test the edges with a spatula, if the mixture runs a little they aren’t ready to be flipped I made 4 pancakes from my recipe 4. Serve with your fave fruit and toppings. I went with berries, @siggisaustralia vanilla yoghurt and a little golden syrup

03.01.2022 The thing Ive loved most about doing my zoom classes is the flexibility of being able to take my laptop anywhere. - Its the same for my clients too, they can do their sessions in their nice warm lounge rooms, or when its sunny they can head out in the backyard. ... - My classes have brought people together from interstate (hey Anna, Casey and Chels ) who wouldnt usually be able to train with me and see my face everyday. - We all have days where we dont feel motivated, or the iso-life gets us down. Ive definitely struggled in my own ways (Im not someone who can sit at a computer all day, Im always up and about and active) so this transition to the online world has taken some getting used to and meant Ive had to sacrifice other things like putting my Masters Degree on hold until next year to transition my business into something completely new and support myself financially. - Seeing my Virtual Strength Squad girls absolutely killing it week in week out during this time has been so rewarding. I have such a close-knit community of amazing women who all support and encourage each other to grow physically and mentally and I think thats something pretty damn special - T x

03.01.2022 So you cant see me in person, well thats okay! You can still train with me virtually, Ill just be wishing you were here instead! - You get a 30 minute virtual 1:1 training session with me each week via zoom and you also have full access to Virtual Strength Squad each week. - All for $60 per week!

02.01.2022 If you are looking to still get some training in over the festive period, I have places in my Strength Squad during this time. - Choosing not to shut down completely over this time as it’s been one hell of a year and being able to finally work face to face in a somewhat normal capacity is pretty exciting for me . I’ll take a proper break next year some time when the world is slightly more normal and we don’t have to wear masks everywhere

02.01.2022 Meanwhile, Pre-COVID, in a Townsville Dungeon, Casey was just doing her online programming by Jacob and myself. Casey had just started learning the basics with us for Oly Lifting after doing our Workshop and taking our Oly Lifts classes as part of Strength Squad and was making some neat progress. Receiving videos of her training and lifts means that we can give her new cues and things to work on each time. No matter where you are in the world, weve got you covered! #StrengthSquadOnline

02.01.2022 This was not today. This was last Tuesday. Yes, tie dye is a pre-requisite for a PB. 70kg overhead squat. Almost bodyweight. Just a few kg’s off for this lanky string bean.

01.01.2022 @lozmac8 is BAAAACK! lil 120kg 1RM sumo today. #weapon

01.01.2022 A little COVID update from little old me.. - Ive been asked about 4000 times what do the government changes mean for you? What happens next? What will you do. In all honesty, as a business owner and a coach, we genuinely cant give you an answer that we can 100% rely on happening. We can have a plan of how we hope things will go, but unfortunately we cant guarantee that these things will happen. ... - From now until I can confidently train people in a facility face to face, nothing changes. - Oh but cant you train up to 10 people outdoors now? - yes we can, however I dont have enough/cant get enough equipment for 10 people due to supply issues with nearly all equipment companies. - Why do you need enough equipment for 10 people? You are not allowed to share equipment with others in the session and must adhere to social distancing. - I hope this clears things up for those that are asking. Im happy to come to you and train you 1:1 on a mobile basis (providing you are not a high risk individual with co-morbidities where if you were to get sick the consequences could be fatal), Im happy to train you virtually 1:1 via zoom, Im happy for you to join in my online classes, but unfortunately I cant provide much more than that right now and am working within my capabilities and what I have available. I am slowly accumulating more equipment when it becomes available through suppliers and am working hard to bring you even more services once we are permitted to train clients indoors again. - Ill keep you all as in the loop as I can hit my website up for all your current options and to book your sessions www.bytamzin.com.au - T x
