16.01.2022 The CFS has warned Wednesday may be a catastrophic fire danger day in some areas. We will post an update about possible school closures once the CFS makes an of...ficial determination on Tuesday afternoon. If families are planning to activate their bushfire plans and expect their children will not attend school on Wednesday, please let your school know. Useful info: http://ow.ly/cTAV50xdkvo See more

07.01.2022 We’re now taking enrolments for preschool in 2021. Did you know that children who turn 4 before 1 May can start at a government preschool from the beginning of ...the next year? Priority is given to families who live within a preschool’s catchment area. Speak to your local preschool director or principal, they’d love to hear from you. 05.01.2022 It was hot and windy today, but we found plenty of fun things to do inside. We started the day off with a special visitor, thanks Lana for bringing in your baby bunny Axel. We worked hard this morning squeezing oranges, peeling bananas and chopping strawberries. But it was all worth it when we had yummy and refreshing orange juice, banana smoothies and strawberry milk to drink with our lunch Our chickens are in their big cage We are very excited about tomorrow, can’t wait to come to kindy in our pajamas and have a movie day (don’t forget your gold coin donation).

01.01.2022 LOOK WHAT WE'VE GOT! Port Pirie Community Kindergarten friends Bianca and Harlow are pointing to the new door seals in the kindy playroom. To keep lead leve...ls low indoors, seals have been installed around all window and door frames. On windy days doors and windows are shut and the seals block dust from being blown inside. To help keep indoor lead levels low at your house: Close windows and doors on windy days Seal all cracks and cornices in your house Install window and door seals to keep dust out. These will also keep out cold winter draughts and summer heat. Now that’s got to be good for your power bill too!
