25.01.2022 The further and deeper you go into diving the more you see the value of strong foundations. Not just in buoyancy, trim and skills, but in the mindset and knowledge to plan, adjust and execute complex dives on the fly. When the people you dive with have that too, that's a recipe for a good dive, every time #beginwiththeendinmind #whenfoundationsrundeep

23.01.2022 Great boat diving conditions at the moment, and the Pioneer is always a favourite deep wreck in terms of size and things to see. At high tide today she sat about 67m on the sand, 25 mins on the bottom and a nice cruisey deco of about 65 minutes. As if Sydney didn't have enough going for it as a Tech diving destination in the 50m range, the Pioneer is the perfect training ground for 50m+ deep diving and also the perfect stepping stone to some of the 70+m wrecks also found j...ust a short boat ride off the coast. We could not be more fortunate as tec divers here! Thanks to Tim, Jason, Miguel and Sydney for the dive. Dive details Mixed team Max depth: 66m BT: 25 mins RT: 104 mins Gas: Trimix

22.01.2022 Some true exploration this morning in Sydney! We went out looking for a wreck and we ended up stumbling upon a (quite probably) never been explored little reef at 70m. As you can see, we're wearing just a few tanks plus there were scooters in the mix etc. so what else is there to do when you you hit the bottom and don't find rusty metal- just see what you can find and stick to the plan! All in all a thoroughly enjoyable morning in this great city. Thanks to Tim, Bill, Dun...can and Jess for the dive and to Fabio for your efforts in trying to find the wreck and getting us out and back safely- we may well be back to expore more of 'Fabio's Reef' :):):) Dive details: Max depth: 72m BT: 22mins RT: 111mins Gas: Hypoxic Trimix

22.01.2022 Fully loaded. Amazing to think this combo of metal, gas, electronics and rubber can take you so far under the waves, to sights and adventures you have to see to believe #awesome Diver: @ordnung

21.01.2022 Blue water stage juggling in the underwater circus #goodskills

18.01.2022 Ready for a 72m dive tomorrow. Should have enough @billyboydiver #tecdivingsydney

17.01.2022 Another dive, another milestone- congrats to Struan and Marc for successful completion of the next step in their Technical diving journies- Tec 50 Trimix. It's been a pleasure taking them through from GUE Fundamentals and great to see the practice and in-water training paying off. Thanks to Tricky for steering the Sea Dragon II safely out to the Myola for us and for getting us back! Congrats guys, now straight onto the next challenge...going even deeper...:) :) ... Dive details Max Depth: 47m BT: 20 mins RT: 65 mins Gas: Trimix

17.01.2022 Real adventures #exploresydney

16.01.2022 In 2009 I was travelling around the world and I found myself in #byronbay on a Learn to Dive course. Little did I know that one day I would be back as a PADI Tec Instructor, GUE Instructor and full time industry professional. Thanks to @byronbaydivecentre for the dive today and for lighting the touchpaper, it's been quite a journey so far #youneverknowunlessyoutry #lifeisanadventure #illbeback

16.01.2022 @marcatherton thinking hard on his #tec50trimix course as we dry run some gas switching another great day under the waves with Struan and Marc perfecting their Tec skills in readiness for some deeper and longer #tecdives #nextlevel #neverstopimproving

16.01.2022 Bottle rotations, a discussion . Struan, @marcatherton and @kerrie.burow dry running their stage juggling before we tried it underwater today on their #tec65trimix course. Great commitment and looking forward to tomorrow's boat dive to take it further. #becauseonebottleisneverenough #challengeaccepted

16.01.2022 Another full on weekend of #guefundamentals with @lyndal.robson, @tiagogrosa, Lewis and Grace. Well done to all for your commitment and dedication, always a pleasure to introduce some more divers into the world of stability, refinement and control . Looking forward to pushing ahead with all your development #startstrong #perpetualdevelopment

14.01.2022 Ready for adventure #explore #reallifeadventures

14.01.2022 The boys are ready for their #tec50trimix dive tomorrow #trainharddiveeasy #upskill

13.01.2022 Celebrating #guecommunityday2020 as we should be- underwater! Today was particularly great to have @billyboydiver and @jason.howarth.insta on our workshop, as two of our most dedicated #gue divers. Congrats to Bill on achieving his Tech pass, and some great strides forward with Jason- we will see you both soon for #tech1 #dedication #practice #results

12.01.2022 Keen for this weather to pass so we can explore more rusty metal #thankslaniña #patience

12.01.2022 It's been a pleasure working with our latest three aquanauts @marcatherton, @kerrie.burow and Struan as we go through the training for #tec65trimix to dive past 50m. It's great to instruct at any level but it's always amazing to spend time in the water with the truly dedicated who really share the passion. Bring on the deco dives...#themoreyouputin #progressishappiness

09.01.2022 After a few shorter runtimes on the Pioneer we had a good ong look around and explore, spending almost 35 mins @65m. She is a pretty impressive wreck and even that is still not enought o really get into all the spaces and details that she has to offer, it was a chilly 13 degrees at the bottom and the extra botoom time translated to a pretty long runtime of almost 2.5 hours. Heard lots of whale song during the dive, not a huge amount of marine life around with middling vis at... the bottom of around 8-10m. Thanks to Duncan, Tim, Jess, Lindsey, Ryan and Fabio for the dive. Dive details Max depth: 65m BT: 35 mins RT: 140 mins Gas: Hypoxic Trimix, 3 x deco stages

05.01.2022 It's good to match your team #diveteamassemble

04.01.2022 Cruising down one of the valleys of the Peak, it's a huge site with so m uch to explore. Plenty of sheer drops and steep walls falling invitingly away into the depths. Also the deepest I've seen a Port Jackson shark so far! An eventful and adventurous day both under and above the waves :) Dive details:... OC/ CC Max depth 81m BT: 25 mins RT: 125 mins See more

04.01.2022 Another training session practising for our eventual #tec65trimix final dive on the Pioneer. The value of these dives is often greater when things don't go entirely to plan, and today was a good learning session . Very much looking forward to pushing ahead with @kerrie.burow, @marcatherton and Struan, it's been a fantastic process so far adding some more divers to the Tech 2 range here in Sydney #downwego #depthanddeco

03.01.2022 Big first weekend of the latest installment of #guefundies. Well done to @tiagogrosa, @lyndal.robson, Grace and @lewisbreslin for all the effort and very keen to continue the development pathway in a couple of weeks. #challengeyourself

02.01.2022 Looking forward to the water warming up here in Sydney. For now, it will have to replace the tropics! In the meantime, there's no better time to #upskill to make the most of those overseas trips when they finally make a reappearance #wehaveanamazingbackyard #divelocal #getready
