25.01.2022 I got asked recently what other women in fitness inspire me? It was hard to answer cause there are so many boss women out there killing it in the fitness industry & seriously helping so many others through their genuine love, care & passion for health. But after thinking about it the three that currently stand out to me would have to be:... 1 The ultimate fitspo for me will always be Libby Babet My first fitness employee, she took a chance on a skinny little country kid & in doing so totally changed her world. I worked for libs in her 2 amazing Bondi based business Agoga & BUF Girls . Libby is one of the most down to earth & humble women in the industry as she slowly builds her empire. She taught me to love movement in all its forms & how to bring athlete fitness to the everyday client. Now a mum she inspires me for how you can be both an amazing wife/mother & still run a business that inspires others daily. She embraces the complete package of health & wellness & I’m forever in her debt again for all she taught & gave to me those years ago! 2The second is a girl I’ve been following for a while Paola Antonini from Brazil. Her story of losing her leg yet still being as motivating & passionate as she is inspires me daily to look on the brighter side of life & embrace everything life throws at me. She’s super fit but also super humble & although I have to google translate all her posts, she’s still one of my top searches whenever I need a hit of motivation & optimism! 3The third is my newest fitspo although I’ve known her for a few years. This girl use to be a client in my Sydney gym & we hit up a few sessions together over the years as her bum bum was constant booty goals But now she has embarked on fitness as a career all the way over in the UK & looks like she is killing it. Pru Roseanna is a major babe & going to do amazing things for a lot of women. Oh & she is hilarious as all hell! Seriously you’ve got to go check her out even just for the hilarious & care free posts she shares. So there you go. My top three bad ass babes in fitness! 23.01.2022 Ahhh the deadlift Love hate relationship for many, and commonly hate due to the strain on the back most directly due to poor coaching technique. To help here are my top ques to help you master the deadlift yourself ... 1Dont lock out the knee. Depends on what variation of technique as to how straight you want the legs. However never should the knee be completely locked out. In my image I am doing a RDL deadlift which is a version where the leg has only a slight bend & the focus is on the stretch through the back of the hamstrings. In a more traditional or conventional deadlift the knees are more bent and you should sit down into the lift before entering the pull phase. 2Keep a flat back. There should never be a curve through the spine. From tailbone to neck the spine should be able to have a ruler sit on it. In the RDL you will be more parallel to the floor as shown. In a traditional stance it will be more on an angle as butt is lower to the ground. Either way the spine should remain straight esp as you begin the pull motion. This will be the biggest way to save any back strain. 3Keep the bar close to your legs through the movement. It should literally scrap your shins (or be damn close). By keeping the bar close again you’ll keep the tension & strength in the legs rather than the back. 4Pull the floor apart with your feet. Sounds weird but push your feet firmly into the ground & imagine you are ripping the floor apart. Just like a squat don’t let the knees cave in, like your feet push them out so as to activate the glutes. 5Don’t overload the bar til you’ve nailed the above points. Going too heavy too soon will only cause you harm & serious DOMs but not in the right spot. Rather than upping weight slow down the tempo, control the eccentric phase especially and practice a strong drive up. Certainly good to add weight when ready but just don’t jump the gun & do damage unnecessarily. Personally I love mixing up my deadlifts with tempo, pulses or half reps & added resistance using various bands. I still manipulate TUT & cause metabolic stress on the targeted muscles thus have seen some nice growth & definition in my hammys of late

22.01.2022 E S C A P E Y O U R C O M F O R T Z O N E... Yep safe to say this last two weeks have been a bit of that especially being on the road stuck in a caravan for a good deal of it. Sitting is not my strong point especially for up to 10hrs+ a day. But being out there in the desolate vast nothing of the Australian outback man it puts shit into perspective. Like looking out onto an endless ocean, being out there you truly realise how insignificant, in the best of ways, you really are. * I’m a spec on this earth, literally a pin prick in its existence. And realising that every now and again is the most empowering thing. * It makes you realise how stupid it is to sweat the small day to day stuff. How there is such a bigger picture out there. How the world still turns daily, by the minute, despite however your day may be going. How amazing this country is to vary as much as it does from one side to the other. * And by realising how minute I am in the grand scheme of things... I realise that I have everything to gain and nothing to loose. * So my feedback from the past 2 weeks of adventure, being hot and bored as hell in a caravan, seeing some amazing country side and endless plains of nothing, spending time with loved ones not nearly often enough seen, staring up at nothing but star lit skies, sitting side by side my lover not saying a word for hours but still 100% content with each other’s company... * yep what I’ve realised is how insignificant I am and how truly liberating that is



22.01.2022 Half way through the silly season... and feelin damn fine Why... Because I am prioritising my goals. I’m doing what is good for me and makes me FEEL good inside and out. I’m indulging when I know it’s worth it and saying no when it’s not.... I’m working for it and still training any chance I get (this benefits both mind and body!). Personally I don’t understand why the holiday season has to be an excuse to let everything you’ve been working so hard for go out the window. Granted you won’t undo all of it in 2 weeks but why even take a step or two backwards? You can still have a good time and indulge, but also practice saying NO and having some restraint towards food and alcohol especially. Let your hair down and enjoy yourself for sure... but just don’t complain at the end as to why you’re not where you were a few weeks ago. Oh well, I guess if you do, you can always come get yo ass kicked back into shape with me Ps... new transformation program announced very soon, and I can’t wait to share this with you guys See more

07.01.2022 Know your why. Pen it down. Put it up. It’s nearly the end of yet another year. What goals have you ticked off this past year, and why? What ones did you not quite hit, and why? And what are you writing down as next years top goals, oh yeh... and why?... See in order for a goal to be achieved I’m a big believer in that the WHY behind the goal has to be strong enough. A strong why means commitment. A strong why means priority. A strong why means conviction behind your action. A strong why is the difference between making sure you hit that goal compared to those you didn’t and let slide. This year my goal was to grow my own brand. My brand of everyday fitness and health my lifestyle is my brand and I wanted to share it with more people. I’m pretty proud to say I have definitely begun the journey of this but still have a long ways to go in this expansion. And what started it all was my why behind this goal, which is that I want others to enjoy a healthy and wholesome life just as I have found for myself. One without physical pain but rather physical empowerment. Where women are confident in their own skin not dictated by numbers and clothing sizes but by the strength and power they see they are capable of. Where nutrition is simple and enjoyed in good company, not scrutinised over and made as a never ending mind game of deprivation and self loathing. Where fitness is what we wake up excited about not seen as a chore that we have to do. That when we look in the mirror we smile at how amazing we are and all the life we have inside of us still to give. 07.01.2022 FEELING BLOATED?? A lot of clients are messaging me or saying in gym that they are feeling bloated and blahhh after all the festive indulgences. Don’t fear completely normal esp if you’ve been off track with your normal nutrition and fitness regime. But before you jump on the next quick fix, tea cleanse, loose 5kg in 5minutes detox ridiculousness try these simple tips & over the course of 3-5 days I’m sure you’ll be feeling back on track 1Start taking a good probiotic... (I recommend @swisseau supplement range for this) 2Start taking greens powder with shake or in the morning with water (I recommend PranaOn for this) 3Reduce/eliminate gluten for 5 days and see how your stomach goes. 4Reduce/eliminate lactose & dairy for 5 days and see how your stomach goes. 5Cut the grog asap Instead start sipping on some probiotic drinks such as Kombucha (I’m currently obsessed with NC2 so delish and great for your digestion!) 6If lactose tolerant, add some cultured greek yoghurt to your daily nutrition as the acidophilus will help reactive the good bacteria in your gut. 7Another trick I’ve been doing lately is every morning taking a shot of ACV with 1/2 tsp Tumeric powder + 1tsp Coconut Oil. A great little detox shot that helps with immune support, gut function and slow energy release for your morning! 8Refocus on vegetables at every meal (FIBRE!) coupled with lean protein (chicken, fish, legumes, lean red meat, tempeh etc). Start to clean up the diet day by day and digestion will improve. 9Move your bodyExercise is a great tool@for helping digestion function as it creates fresh oxygenated blood to pump through all the organs including the digestive system helping to eliminate the build up of toxins and waste. 05.01.2022 RESULTS ARE IN.... YEEOW I ACED IT Very proud with my latest blood test results. I had a full reading done including all my adrenals, hormones, iron and regular tests. 2months ago I was low in iron and on the lower end for some of my hormone readings. Results in 8 weeks later and I am back in optimal range for all and iron is the highest it’s ever been I didn’t do much except scale back on the really hard training, include more yin and stress relief work instead, and mo...nitor my nutrition a little closer to ensure well rounded nutritional profile at each meal including fats, carbs and protein I’ve been regular on my cycle and have optimal energy each and every day. 05.01.2022 N E W Y E A R R E S O L U T I O N S I love how everyone shares their New Years resolutions on their social pages. Not only does it help keep you accountable having announced it out loud but it’s also super motivating reading everyone’s goals for the year! I love it ... So I thought I better share mine 1) so it holds me accountable and 2) maybe inspires someone else too! Keep on my journey of practicing more self love. Drop the criticism and trolls of my mind and focus on what I need both mentally and physically to be the very best version of ME! Show more love and gratitude to others. Try to be more giving and loving in my responses and actions to friends, family and really anyone I meet. Be more in the moment. And yep that’ll mean getting off my phone (I blame u Instagram haha!) and being more present in my surroundings & company. Grow my gym family @move.nourish.inspire to 100 by the end of the year. Drink more water (lol!) Read more! Very keen to start or join a book club (any GC takers?!) Do at least 2 more courses of study female health and nutrition primarily Travel! Bali (already booked) plus 2 more overseas trips this year! Explore my yoga practice more and continue daily meditation. 05.01.2022 Build your body up rather than break it down So many of use exercise as a tool to just burn calories, as punishment for what we’ve eaten, as a forced chore - something we have to do. But it shouldn’t be that way. Over training, constant hiit or over doing one method of training only encourages a broken body, a tired body, a body that doesn’t give you the return on your efforts because it is simply too tired and broken to. Better to focus on how to build your body into i...ts best form by having variety in your training, adequate rest, wholesome nutrition and a sprinkle of self love on top! I’ve been the pro athlete & I’ve also been the day in day out hiit and JUST hiit client. Both methods served me at the time but no longer, especially when it comes to building a strong body and with it a confident love for all it does! I now enjoy exercise still as a part of my every single day, but out of the love of movement rather than a forced effort or punishment. I have variety in my workouts, I prioritise my strength days over hours of cardio and include lots of yin based activity to balance it all out. I love exercise. I love fitness. And I love seeing what my body can do. And so should you! Build a body you are proud of and one that loves you back. Life is so much better that way

04.01.2022 The posh shrooms from @bambam_bakehouse Im going to share more of the meals that I love eating both out and when I cook at home with you guys, as it’s been a hot request. So here was my fav meal of the weekend... it was seriously so delish I wiped the plate clean! Let’s start from the bottom of the stack...... Soy & linseed sourdough Whipped feta Roasted thyme mushies Rocket Pesto salsa verde & hazelnuts ++ Poached egg for added protein Brunch is probably my favourite meal to have out as so many great cafes on the GC! I usually always opt for a dish that gives me some veg that I wouldn’t usually cook at home (or as well!), quality bread (as usually don’t have this during the week) and poached eggs (cause I can’t do these at all!). 01.01.2022 As requested I’m going to try and post more nutrition related info for you guys especially meals and foods I love to eat! This was dinner last night... a salad I pre prepared before we went to burleigh hill for a sunset picnic. It included: Grilled Chicken... Pumpkin and corn vegetarian burgers chopped up and grilled Spinach, grape tomatoes, cabbage mix, beetroot ribbons & chicpeas Feta cheese + Olive oil, balsamic and Dijon mustard as a dressing. I LOVE salads but not just boring lettuce and nothing. I mix it up and make sure there’s plenty of colour, decent lean protein, healthy fats and of course some carbohydrate included. Then it’s not just a plain old salad but rather a delicious and nutritious meal that fills me up with all the good stuff! Nutrition profile for this meal was: Calories 526 Carbohydrate 40 Protein 34 Fats 22 Give it a go fit fam and let me know what you think!
