23.01.2022 So what happens when a State Forest becomes a State Park? Nothing much good that I can see for four-wheel drivers...

21.01.2022 Seems like there is little support for this page but it's not all bad news. A new Facebook page with similar aims as PLAC was established less than a month ago and has over 7,500 members already. The Bush Users Group United should now be your source for news on public land access issues. I am admin for both but will no longer be posting to PLAC. So please migrate your interest to BUGU. There are rallies coming up in Avoca, Bendigo and Melbourne CBD so we need your support. Send me a message if you wish, but please do join Bush Users Group United and share far and wide. Thank you. Rita Bentley

17.01.2022 It’s very upsetting when dad gets a phone call wanting his machines to go help fight in the fires but can’t go as the greenies have tied themselves to it, have they thought about all the poor people, houses, animals or buildings that dad could potentially save! Selfish pricks.

04.01.2022 Updated BUGU map showing existing Parks and areas at risk. There is very little public land left as State Forest.

03.01.2022 **UPDATE - Please see the most recent post on our Facebook page. Tragic news came through overnight. Katie Fitzgerald grew up in Thornton and has been missing f...or 8 days. Her phone last pinged the Mt Beenak phone tower, and she conducted a google map search of locations. A search is being organised, meeting tomorrow (Saturday) at 10am at the Reefton Pub. Further details can be found in the event listed on this page, and on the Facebook group 'Find Katie Fitzgerald Outer East Victoria'. The searchers would also welcome people searching around the Alexandra, Eildon, Rubicon areas, and anywhere else in the vicinity. The more eyes and ears the better. People with 4WDs and motorbikes would be a big help on the search. See more
