24.01.2022 Special delivery. The next 4 weeks of craft are packed up and already delivered to both sites. Be quick, I have left 6 at each. As you can see they were precious goods in the car.

23.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS- GPUC are looking at growing a new community of faith amongst the younger people. The proposed Community of Faith will be for families that have outgrown Messy Church, or young families who no longer are coming to church but would like a sense of spirituality in a community environment. Our first meeting is Thursday night, 7.30pm on zoom. - We will discuss new forms of worship, ... - Ideas and initiatives that you think are missing or you would like to see. - discuss steps to appoint a group to help select a new minister. If you are interested in attending, please contact me on email and I will send you the details. All welcome, invite a friend or someone you think would be interested. 19.01.2022 Toy Drive Donations. Thanks for all those who have contributed. Our playgroup families also made the cards last week. Last collection is the 14th Nov. details below. This is an opportunity for us to assist those in greater need than ourselves and perhaps teach our children about the importance of helping others.... This year representatives from Gordon Pymble Uniting Church will collect toys from playgroup. They will be taken by truck to Griffith and distributed in the local area and also as far away as Broken Hill to children who are living in disadvantage. Gordon Pymble Uniting Church has long established relationships with organisations in this area that distribute toys to families in need. You can help by purchasing a toy that is.. * worth $25 or less - some cheaper items could include felt pens, fun books etc * suitable for children aged 3 - 14 [mostly for pre - schoolers and primary students] * wrapped in clear cellophane so they can be seen easily and placed in the right age group * a handmade card with "Happy Christmas" can be attached to the wrapping * not fragile as toys will be transported to Griffith by truck * No food chocolate or gift vouchers Any question, please speak to Courtney, Nicola or Lesley.

02.01.2022 MASK MAKING TOMORROW GPUC are holding a zoom session tomorrow Tuesday 18th August at 1pm. Please join me to make a mask together or just to listen the demonstration provided. Below is a link to the Zoom session.... I have noticed that Lincraft have changed their Mask download pattern. If you have your printer is set to A4 print the pattern piece will not be to scale. It might be easier to use Spotlights download template https://www.spotlightstores.com//bias-binding-mask-project Or use the slightly different pattern attached, both of them can be made the same way. There are patterns and kits (minus the elastic) available at the church. Please let me know if you are coming to pick a kit up and I will meet you there.
