24.01.2022 Hello to all our wonderful loyal customers., we hope you are all keeping well and practising Social Distancing seriously. I/we have been attending at the South Road shop on a regular basis to make sure all is well and that there is no dumping. Sadly, many people have been dropping donations at the rear of the store which in turn are rifled through and left in a mess for me/us to clean up. This also renders most things unable to be salvaged. We have to ask, PLEASE DO NOT leave donations at the store at this time. We will let everyone know via Facebook when we are able to accept donations again. We thank you for your understanding and please be safe.

23.01.2022 Good Morning, We are committed to providing our Op Shop service in all three of our shops during this COVID19 Crisis. However, to continue to be able to do this we have put certain measures in place to keep both our volunteers and the community safe. If you have Cold or Flu like symtoms (cough, sore throat, fever), or have returned from overseas travel in the last 14 days or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID19 please for now we ask you to st...ay away from our stores and follow the directives of the Health Department. If you do come in and see us, which we would love, we ask that where possible you please pay for items with a credit or debit card to minimize our contact with cash. 17.01.2022 Dear friends, As most of you are aware, Coronavirus (COVID-19) has spread to Australia, with several cases reported over the last two months and the World Health Organization have marked it as a world pandemic. Coronavirus (specifically COVID-19) is a respiratory illness caused by a new virus. Symptoms range from a mild cough to pneumonia. Some people recover easily while others may get sick very quickly. With our client group being predominately young children and aged indiv...iduals, they fall within the realms of individuals who are more susceptible to the virus. Evidence has shown that the virus can spread from person to person, person to animal and vice versa. Good hygiene can prevent infection. At Puddle Jumpers, we are taking every measure to assure the safety of our clients, volunteers and staff, and the businesses and organizations we collect and rescue food from, that they are protected from risk. As we are an organization that works with societies most vulnerable children, we must ensure that anyone we provide support to and/or that interacts with our clients are healthy and well equipped to do so. This includes at our Community Food Nights at Glandore, and our three op shops (979 South Road Melrose Park, 300 Port Road Hindmarsh and 206 Henley Beach Road, Shop 1). As part of our precautions, we are asking all families, volunteers, individuals and charities to advise us if you or anyone you know have been suspected of or diagnosed with the Coronavirus. If you do have suspected or reported cases, we will work with you in developing an alternative support system. As you can see, if you arrive at our offices, either for our Food Nights or for an appointment - you will be met with these signs as a reminder for our own safety and ours. These posters will also be distributed at our op shops as well for the safety of you as our clients, friends, volunteers and staff. This does mean, to any of our volunteers, op shops, offices, drivers, food nights and camp mentors, please do NOT volunteer if you are sick or have recently travelled. 17.01.2022 We are tickled pink to be reopening our original op shop today located at 979 South Road Melrose Park! Thanks to some amazing volunteers we have had a makeover and all new stock is out! Our other 2 amazing stores (300 Port Rd Hindmarsh and shop 1/206 Henley Beach Rd Torrensville) will also be open today! ... These shops help fund our amazing work for children and families in need and they also stock fabulous items at great prices so pop in today and grab some bargains!

The volunteers have worked so hard to get it ready for opening , check it out theres so many bargains galore in it and now you can shop at both this one shop 1, 206 Henley Beach Road, Torensville (opposite fasta pasta) - and our other shop at 300 Port Road Hindmarsh (thank you to everyone shopping again it helps us raise much needed funds for our work helping people in need!

08.01.2022 More bargain furniture as we need the space desperately! Black recliner couch is only $50!! Comfy as a bit of wear and tear but still plenty of use left in it! The beautiful wooden corner unit is well worth around $300 but we are selling it as dirt cheap $50 come on in and take a look and take home some furniture today!
