06.01.2022 PugLove PENNY’S Pre natal X-ray & health checkups are complete & mum & babies are well, she is settled in the nursery & now we wait.... why do we do Pre natal checkups & XRay ? Pre-whelping x-rays are important so that you can have an estimate of litter size when it comes to whelping. If pug mummy starts to have her puppies and her labour seems to stop after 4 puppies when we are expecting 6 puppies, then we will will know it’s time for veterinary advice. #puglove
