19.01.2022 1 ONE DAY TO GO! 1 Tomorrow I finish my 42k Your Way Fundraising journey. I never imagined I would raise as much awareness and money for the Children’s Hospital Foundation, as I have. ... Unfortunately I haven’t been able to complete my goal of 100kms, due to a flare in my medical conditions in the past week. I am super proud of the 63kms that I have walked, and the almost $20,000 that my team has raised. I would love to raise $20,000 and am only a few hundred dollars short. 12.01.2022 kms done! Thank you to everyone who has supported me along my fundraising journey. You are all amazing! When I first heard about the 42k Your Way fundraising event, I was excited but also worried I would not be able to complete the 42kms due to my medical conditions. ... Over the past month, I have had more then my fair share of days. However knowing that I needed to complete the kms, not only to raise funds but for myself, gave me the extra boost of determination. Thankyou to the Children’s Hospital Foundation for your incredible support. Thankyou to the media outlets who have helped raise awareness for the Children’s Hospital Foundation by promoting my story. Thank you to my amazing Pull Up Your Socks for Brooke Team. Together we have raised almost $22,000! Brooke x

11.01.2022 In true Brooke style, despite not feeling very well, she is out on her exercise bike clocking up a few last kms for her 42k Your Way challenge. She really wants to smash her goal of 100kms. Her Dad commited to donating $10 for every km she completed. She wants to get the most out of that! Whenever you feel like things are too hard, spare a thought for sick kids who battle with their medical conditions on a daily basis. These little troopers keep on, keeping on despite the ...challenges they face. We could all learn some resilience lessons from their amazing attitudes. Today is the last day of the 42k Your Way, raising much needed funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation. We have said it before, and we will say it again, this amazing foundation can be the difference between families been able to get through their journey of having a unwell child, and not getting through it. They are amazing! Like many things in life, until you need to utilize an important service, you don’t value it’s importance. I, along with thousands of other Queensland parents, can vouch for how amazingly important the work that the Children’s Hospital Foundation does for sick kids and their families. Having a sick kid is a tough gig, but being that sick kid is even tougher. If you are in the position to donate towards Brookes fundraising for the Children’s Hospital Foundation, please consider doing so. Every dollar counts! 10.01.2022 Hello! There are ONLY 4 days left of my 42k your way fundraiser! Unfortunately I have been unwell for the last 5 days and haven’t been able to walk any more kms. Im use to having bad days, however it had been quite sometime between rides!... I have smashed my original goal of walking 42kms and raising $1000. I am extremely PROUD to have now walked 63kms and raised $19,242 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation.
