16.01.2022 Great that this discussion is happening. We already have child beauty pageants in NZ, on a small scale, however Universal Royalty (of 'Toddlers & Tiaras' infamy) have claimed they are coming to NZ later this year. We firmly believe that there needs to be some regulation of this industry.

10.01.2022 This makes a very valid point! These pageant mums are made to wear what their little girls have to wear... and they feel rather exposed!

05.01.2022 Last weekend was the final of Miss Teen NZ, for 10 - 19 year olds. With a $900 entry fee, and surrounded in controversy, we sincerely hope it's the last NZ sees of this competition. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/lifestyle/news/article.cfm
