24.01.2022 Meet Jason Piper JP is our very own Adamstown gym manager and one of the great characters in Australian Climbing history. A legendary bolter and first ascentionist, he is still sending harder now than ever. You wouldn’t know it thanks to modesty, but JP has just recently sent a 10 year project at Bogas Cave, Central Coast NSW. First bolted by JP in the early 2000’s, the 15m lead climb is now graded by the man himself at a staggering 28; dubbed... The Bogas Line. When I topped out, I just sat down and enjoyed the view says Piper, and thought back to all those years and how long it took me. It was more of a movement based crux, so new age bouldering made me approach the line differently. A huge congratulations to @jmanpiper on this massive achievement Make sure to give JP a (Covid safe) air-Hi 5 next time you see him A special thanks to our very own Pulse Team member @jakebuchanphoto for these incredible photographs- make sure to give him a follow. More to come! Stay tuned.

17.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: 22 March 2020 We are still open and continue to follow the Australian Governments advice in regards to our operations. Our customer numbers are well down and currently nowhere near social distancing limits.... In line with current health recommendations, we are: Checking our numbers to be sure we never have more than 100 people present in the gym at any one time. All our gyms have more than 500m/2 of space in the climbing rooms. Plenty to stay below the required 4m/2 per person with 100 people. Smaller areas in the gyms have had number limits put in place. Encouraging people to keep their distance from each other. Drawing every customer’s attention to our hygiene poster and requesting they wash or sanitise their hands on entering our premises, before and after climbing and using gym equipment. Regularly reinforce handwashing and hygiene practices. Continually disinfecting and wiping down shared surfaces in the gym - counters, i-Pads, carabiners, door, handles, water fountains, gym equipment, seats, tables, kitchens etc Making sure all soap and paper towel dispensers are always stocked. Asking anyone who does not feel well, or who displays any cold or flu symptoms, to stay away. Practicing and modelling first class hygiene practices to set the best example. We have also installed extra hand sanitising stations and closed the drinking spout of the bubbler. We have suspended the hiring of chalk bags. During these uncertain times we know that all of our beloved community are being affected. By working together, sharing the love and supporting others around us we will get through this. Much love the Pulse Team
