22.01.2022 This sounds like a good idea. Pum's Ktchen is locally owned. Pum and I started our little restaurant as a market stall at the Big Pineapple markets back in 2014. We support so many other local Sunshine Coast businesses. It feels good to support locally owned businesses.

18.01.2022 One day, we might do these tasty treats for our bravest customers. They are Hor Mok, or steamed fish red curry. A little spicy, a little creamy , a lot yum. Served with steamed rice they make the perfect Thai lunch treat. At the moment we are only doing them for the Thai community, and they sell out real fast.

17.01.2022 Special announcement. It is becoming more appropriate for us to cease trading and put our business into some kind of hibernation. Pum's mum is staying with us and we are scared for her health.... We can see that social distancing and the closure of non essential gatherings IS working and we need to keep this up, perhaps more. This is our reasoning for putting ourselves in isolation and our business in hibernation. Please keep following us. We will be doing some cooking demonstrations on video, maybe I can convince Yai, Pum's mum, to do a demonstration for us. Be safe, take care, stay home and see you on the other side of this.

16.01.2022 With all the problems going on down south, we just wanted to show our customers that we are following current cleaning and spacing regulations as required. Every table is cleaned before/after each customer, each menu is also disinfected after every customer. All of our tables are at least 1.5 meters apart, so no individual customer or party will be sitting closer than 1.5 meters apart.... Our contact tracing data is as required by the government and is on individual pages so no one can access your information. We want each and every customer to not only feel safe, we want them to be safe. Above all of this, we want all of our customers to have the best Pum's Kitchen experience possible, great food, a bit of entertainment and that special feeling that has seen Pum's Kitchen awarded TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence four years in a row. 10.01.2022 With the new stage three restrictions coming into effect this morning, 22/8/20, we would like to inform all of our customers that it is business as usual (just like the last few weeks anyhow) for all businesses on the Sunshine and Gold Coasts. This means that smaller businesses, like Pum's Kitchen, that have a floor space of less than 200 square meters, we are allowed one person per 2 square meters, with a maximum of 50 people. Like we have been doing for the past few weeks, ...all of our tables are spaced apart from eachother within the regulations, we are doing this for both your and our safety. Like the majority of Queenslanders, we must continue to exercise this new common sense for the good of our comunity as a whole. 08.01.2022 At first glance, this review, Sam from Bli Bli was quite understandably upset at how long her meal took to come out, it was a Friday lunch and about three weeks after we opened out new restaurant, we were still a little lost in the new kitchen and it was seriously busy that day. A little while later we received Sam's second review. Better late than never trying Pum's delicious meals. Thanks to Sam for seeing through the delay and still enjoying her meal enough to give us a five star review. Pum and Chris.

Registering on this app is easy and as far as I know it is safe and your data and personal info are confidential and simply cannot be accessed. In addition to this, the more people that have this app running, the quicker we can get back to some kind of normal. What that means is that bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants, along with movies and other entertainment venues can re open sooner. That sounds good to me.

Ampawa Floating Market is very near where Pum's mum comes from, a lot of her cousins still live there and it is the birth place of the first recorded Siamese Twins.
