20.01.2022 Update: A large number of roads remain closed due to snow and hazardous conditions. Midland Hwy from Tunbridge to Melton Mowbray and Vinces Saddle on the Huon... Hwy are now open - but drive with extreme caution. If you're driving in an area affected by snow and ice - check the Tasmania Police website Community Alerts prior to driving - https://www.police.tas.gov.au/community-alerts/ Slow down and be alert for ice and slippery road conditions Never drive on icy or snowy roads Always obey road closure signs which are put in place for motorist safety Put headlights on if visibility is reduced Leave plenty of space between you and the vehicle in front of you.
