22.01.2022 2 of my absolute favourite treasure finds are unwanted gifts and old used cook books. I often find boxed glassware or unused kitchen gadgets. Who exactly recieves a Bamix and never uses it? Or a set of hand made glasses? Old cook books are so very different with dog eared corners, sticky notes and hand written recipes. My pick in stock are Margaret Foulton and The Culinary Arts Encyclopaedia. Always a new story in our little shop of dreams, inside Northern Rivers Collectables. 4 great stores in one location.

11.01.2022 Optics are so cool. The spotting scope on the left is a rare vintage Tamron lens adapter with a Tamron tele-macro lens. Effectively it allows photographers to reduce their load by converting a standard telephoto lens into a small telescope. The one on the right is a Bushnell firld scope. Both super tools.
