24.01.2022 Hi everyone Just a reminder again that there is a $20 late cancellation fee for appointments cancelled on the day. Unfortunately we are having a lot of people doing this lately and leaving it too late for Dale to book anyone else in. Dale sends reminders out 1-2 days prior to your appointment to try and avoid this from happening. If you would like more notice or haven't been receiving your reminders, please let Dale know Also if you need to reschedule an appointment please ...be aware that due to Dale being busy atm there might be a wait to get another appointment. If you have regular booked appointments you may need to wait until your next appointment. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but this time of year is always really busy Thanks everyone

24.01.2022 REMEMBER. Easter treats might be tasty for us, but they can be toxic to our pets. RSPCA WA says these five household hazards should be kept away from prying paws: Chocolate: Even a small amount of chocolate can have terrible consequences. ... Symptoms of poisoning include vomiting, diarrhoea, lack of appetite, rapid heart rate, tremors, and seizures. If ingested in large enough quantities, poisoning can be fatal. Raisins, grapes and currants: These are common ingredients in hot cross buns. They can cause acute kidney failure in some dogs, which is debilitating, expensive to treat, and can be fatal. Easter Lilies: Along with several of the other types of lilies, these can put your cat into acute kidney failure, which can be fatal. Even a small nibble or pollen on their fur or paws while grooming can be very dangerous. Foil/wrappers: Foil and wrappers can be swallowed and cause a blockage in your pet’s intestinal tract, requiring surgery. The artificial grass in Easter baskets poses a similar risk. Easter toys: Baby chick toys, plastic eggs and bunnies are cute for kids, but they can also be tempting for pets and pose a choking hazard.

17.01.2022 Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend Just an update on Dale's availability. At this stage he has no more grooming spots available until mid-late January. He does have some random washing appointments still available but please book asap. ... Also just a reminder Dale will be on a well earned break from 25th Dec - 11th January. He hasn't had any time off for over a year and even worked through covid shut-downs so he is definitely overdue for some down time Thanks everyone

10.01.2022 Just an update on availability for the rest of the year. Dale only has a couple of grooming appointments left for the year. If you are wanted your pooch groomed before Christmas please book ASAP. January is booking up fast so we recommend booking your following appointment as well to avoid disappointment.... He still has scattered washing appointments left but please still book asap as these are filling fast. Also just to remind to everyone that we require 24hrs notice if you are needing to cancel your appointment otherwise there is a $20 late cancellation fee. Unfortunately we have had people cancelling on very short notice lately. Thanks!

02.01.2022 NATIONAL PUPPY DAY! Observed each year on March 23rd, National Puppy Day celebrates the unconditional love and affection puppies bring to our lives. Their cuddles and wiggles make us smile and without a doubt, there are squeals of delight when there are puppies around! The day also brings awareness to the need for care of and homes for orphaned pups as well as to educate people about the horrors of puppy mills across the country. Puppies are a big responsibility. Be sure to consider everything involved and consider adopting from a shelter. The puppies there need love and a home just as much as any other and they grow into loyal pets, too!
