It's a busy start already when normally the industry is still in holiday mode! 7 voice overs booked, one theatre contract offered, 10 actors shortlisted for a job from their headshots and 21 actors auditioning for roles in a feature film which starts in March. 2018 I like you already!!

08.01.2022 We're still here! Over the past 3 days we've been working flat out organising around 40 Pure Actors to record a self-test for 2 TVC's. Live casting sessions are on hold so thank goodness for the self-test option! We hope the jobs actually get shot before EVERYTHING is postponed. Thinking of all actors at this time. Especially as even your "Day Jobs" are in jeopardy!

06.01.2022 What a fortnight! A Pure Actor in this great campaign. 2 actors in roles in Neighbours!! (I know right?) 73 actors in role play work. 20 voice overs recorded with Pure Actors. 3 actors in a medical training video. 3 in Storm Boy. 2 in Wolf Creek S2. Furthermore, 7 actors performing & touring in professional theatre. I'm spending the weekend catching up on all the accounts but couldn't be happier

05.01.2022 This is very exciting for the entire industry in SA. Needing 1500 extras from Adelaide (hopefully featured roles will be cast locally too!) all who are interested in extras work just let me know and I'll put you forward when we know who's casting it :)

02.01.2022 Actors, you can go along to this if you want to be an extra on Mortal Kombat...if you want to stand outside in the wind & rain and wait for hours. There will be other times allocated to professional actors to be seen for extras roles (if they're not being considered for an actual role) so do not worry, you are not being overlooked. However if you really want to put yourself through this then go along & just make sure you put your agent's name on the sheet so they know which agency you're with.
