21.01.2022 Oh my gosh! We had such an fun filled day today! We invited our friends from Miss Gens over for a special Melbourne Cup play group. We enjoyed a yummy high tea lunch, and had loads of fun outside enjoying the beautiful sunshine ... The children then had choice between making a special hat to wear or finding an outfit/hat from out dress ups to wear in our own horse races

Family Day Care educators have taken a big hit financially with the current covid package, and they just wanted to put a smile on my face It certainly did...... after I cried lol Family Day Care is amazing, the relationship doesnt stop when the care does.... #morethanjustajob #familydaycareisamazing

16.01.2022 Working on numbers, writing on the black board and jumping along our numbers pathway Mr B our eldest at Pure Sunshine (4 years old) is well and truly getting school ready. Mr B is able to point count and recognise all numbers up to 50! He can also recognise not only his name, but also Mum, Dad, his brother, mine and all 5 of the other childrens names attending Pure Sunshine. ... Displaying childrens art work with their names not only helps them feel as sense of belonging, but also assists in helping with letter recognition. Family Day care is an amazing opportunity for children to have more one on one time to nurture and develop a childs interests and skill sets needed as they prepare for school.
