The timetable will be slightly different due to restrictions of space but we WILL be dancing in person as of Monday the 23rd of November. 21.01.2022 .::. Invoice reminder - OVERDUE .::. All fees are invoiced per term and need to be paid prior to the due date . Students will not be permitted to attend class if accounts remain unpaid. NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS will be given for non-attendance or if a student withdraws from a class at any stage during the term or year. If a class is cancelled by us, we will endeavour to schedule a make-up class, or the lesson fee will be deducted from your next terms’ invoice or you will receive a refund. 17.01.2022 Dear PBDS parents, students and families It is with great sadness that I write to you all to inform you that the South Australian Government has directed the temporary closure of indoor sport/ activities for the next 2 weeks . Although this means no face to face classes for the next 2 weeks . In this time we will be offering our online zoom classes ! Thank goodness we have the experience for this and although not ideal the transition should be seamless and still allows cla...sses to go ahead as normal as possible. In regards to our end of year concert on Friday the 11th of December we are still planning on going ahead. After discussions with Hopgood theatre we are crossing our fingers that after our 2 weeks of restrictions their capacity will be able to go back to 1 person per 2 meter squared and will allow the show to go on . If for some reason restrictions do not ease and capacity is caped at 80 people per concert we will be rescheduling our concert . We have tentatively booked the 20th of February in the new year to perform our hards years work. Tickets will be going on sale Thursday the 19th of November with all tickets being purchased through Hopgood Theatre. If the concert needs to be reschedule your ticket will just be moved to the new date or can be reimbursed. Happy home dancing for the next 2 weeks !!!! 16.01.2022 Dear Parents /Adult guardians and Students, It is with great sadness (in correspondence with South Australia’s current COVID restrictions) that I write to you all to inform you that our end of year concert on Friday the 11th of December and full rehearsal this Sunday the 6th of December will need to be postponed until 2021. With the 1 per 4sqm rule in place until the 14th of December it means that our full rehearsal will be unable to go ahead and our concert capacity is now... capped at 70 which would mean many family members would miss out and tickets would need to be refunded. Unfortunately it is not feasible to have our concert with such a small audience and we also feel that it would not be fair to the students who worked so hard to not be able to show off their routines to the biggest audience possible. We know that this is not an ideal situation, however we are trying to make the best of it and still have a showcase. Classes will run for the next 2 weeks and we will finish up with the last day of classes being Saturday the 12th of December. We will recommence dance on Monday the 1st of February 2021 for 3 weeks of classes before our Showcase on Saturday the 20th of February . I have also rescheduled our full rehearsal day at Holdfast Bay Community Centre to Sunday the 14th of February. The NEW 2021 timetable will then start from the 22nd of February. Tickets previously purchased for our End of Year showcase will automatically be changed over to our NEW date for 2021. We will be filming all routines at the studio over the coming weeks and posting them in band so students can still practise over the break. Please use the correct entry and exit door, sanitise hands on your way in and do not attend class if you have been in any of the identified COVID hot spots or overseas in the past 14 days. 12.01.2022 WHOLE SCHOOL CONCERT REHEARSALS SUNDAY THE 14TH FEBUARY Dear Parents/ Adult Guardians and Students ... Our whole school concert rehearsal is a great day for students to practice performing their routines in front of their peers in preparation for the concert and is also the only chance they will get to see the show. Parents are not required to stay however if you are a backstage helper you are more than welcome to stay and watch as you will not be able to go back and forth on the night of the concert to view students dances. WHEN: Sunday the 14th of February. WHERE: Holdfast Bay Community Centre, 51 King George Avenue Hove. JUNIOR CONCERT: Arrive 10:00am for 10:15am start. Junior concert rehearsal finish at 11:45am all students must be picked up promptly after their rehearsal. SENIOR CONCERT: Arrive 12:00pm for 12:15pm start. Senior concert rehearsal finish at 2:00pm all students must be picked up promptly after their rehearsal. BRING: All shoes required for dance (jazz shoes, hip hop sneakers, tap shoes, chorus shoes, foot thongs and heels for hip hop) water and healthy suitable snacks. 07.01.2022 Dear parents , students and families I’m so excited to announce that our tickets for PBDS A Night at The Movies on Friday the 11th of December are now on sale !!!!! Please read all the below information before purchasing tickets!!!! https://eur05.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/... Our Junior concert is for our 4 and under up to (and including) 12 and under students , this includes Boys Hip Hop. Please be respectful when purchasing tickets as there is a maximum of 4 tickets per student/ family performing. Our Senior concert is for our 14 and under up to (and including) adult students. Please be respectful when purchasing tickets as there is a maximum of 6 tickets per student/ family performing. These seating restrictions are due to the half sized capacity of Hopgood Theatre (now only 246) if by the 3rd of December shows are not sold out , more tickets can be purchased. I sincerely trust and hope that everyone abides by these seating rules as I would hate for some families to miss out - please do the right thing and allow everyone equal time to purchase tickets to see there child/ children perform ( especially now as tickets can’t be purchased and monitored via phone as of current covid lockdown restrictions) Tickets are $20 for one show or if you have a child/ children in both shows a $30 multi ticket must be purchased. 04.01.2022 .::. As of Monday June 1st the studio will be opening it’s doors to classes which follow the current SA government restrictions. At this time this allows classes with 10 and less students to come back to the studio. I will be in contact later today (after 1pm once lessons have finished) with our updated timetable and covid safe handbook much love and can’t wait to see your faces in the studio next week x T.::.

03.01.2022 .::. This morning as we all wake , I’m beyond excited that finally I can scream from the rooftops that today is ........ CONCERT DAY not sure exactly where to start or how to best put into words the journey that we have travelled to get exactly where we are today which is exactly where we belong , ONSTAGE. First and foremost I must say the biggest congratulations to all our students and our incredible staff for overcoming challenges , unthinkable obstacles and large hurd...les which we never let dampen our passion and desire to dance , teach and do what we love. It’s crazy to think that we had almost a full term of external zoom classes and then even when we could return things weren’t exactly as they were before . We should be beyond proud that as a studio we persevered through zoom classes , remained positive through a lock down, stayed motivated over a 7 week break and remained grateful that despite our concert being postponed we have this opportunity today to dance our hearts out and have fun on stage as our PBDS family . Today let’s dance for all those people around the world who aren’t able to , be grateful that today is a blessing and ride this crazy roller coaster together all the way to the very end !!!! 02.01.2022 COVID SAFETY REMINDER Your health and safety is our number one priority. Please make sure if you have visited any of the locations listed in SA HEALTH - you DO NOT attend class until you’ve been tested and cleared. Continue to keep updated and follow SA HEALTHS GUIDELINES.... We are blessed to be able to continue to provide our in-studio classes but for everyone attending our studio, please remind yourselves of the following: If you are unwell and experiencing any cold/flu like symptoms, please stay home & contact us to let us know. All students, please use the entrance and exit doors (located at the back of the studio) and practise social distancing when lining up on arrival and when leaving. No parent/guardian can enter the studio space due to our capacity of students allowed in the studio at any one time. Everyone must practise good hygiene at all times. Please use hand sanitiser provided upon entry and exit and wash your hands thoroughly whenever necessary. All students must practise social distancing during sessions and make no physical contact with others. All students need to bring their own labelled drink bottles. We are regularly cleaning & disinfecting surfaces, handles & equipment between classes. A copy of our COVID safety plan is available at the front desk, please help us in keeping a safe COVID free dance space! We appreciate and thank you for your support & understanding.
