23.01.2022 Another vehicle ready to start spreading the word. Thanks again to Signarama North Lakes for designing and printing the graphics. Took about 6 hours to pretty this one up. Hope when I give her twin brother a facelift next week I get the job done a bit faster.

20.01.2022 It's that time of year again. Welcome to the annual staff Xmas party for PureComm. Once again I cannot express how thankful we are to all of these people. If it weren't for their hard work we wouldn't be where we are today. Special thanks to The Heritage Hotel Rockhampton for an absolutely amazing meal and great service. Definately recommended for your next social outing. Merry Xmas to you all.

20.01.2022 So today started well. Early start, travel to Longreach to install a new Panasonic phone system at Smith Bros Mitre10. Reach Alpha and the score is now Nissan Patrol 1 vs Major Mitchell Cockatoo 0. At least it wasn't a Kangaroo. Carry on to Longreach without incident. 40 degrees out here. Bugger me that's hot. Start work. Looking ok. Plug new system into customers power rail and POOF! Blew power to half the rack. All hands on deck including the business owner to replace the faulty power rail. Done in 10 minutes but still no internet. Bugger! Power out fried customers router. Bugger! Replaced with spare from car and back to work. After that install went well. Arrive at motel and get told restaurant is closed so I have to go all the way back into town for dinner. Bugger! Arrive at room and see this. NOW it all makes sense!

19.01.2022 Off to the big smoke to complete traing on Panasonic's NS700 Unified Communications Platform. Panasonic will be our latest offering to support our SMB Customers.

16.01.2022 Today we were asked to replace a faulty network switch on behalf of our friends at Smart Business Solutions at Grant and Simpson Lawyers. While we were there we were requested to tidy the data cabinet to make it a little easier for staff to perform fault finding in the future. Before and after photos tell the story better than I can.

10.01.2022 UPDATE: it seems the issue occurred around 4:20 am and affected mainly Telstra customer throughout Queensland. Internet services have now started to come back online. It has come to our attention that there is a widespread outage in the Rockhampton area with internet service. We are unsure at this stage if the issue is confined to Telstra customers or if it is NBN related. We will post further updates as soon as we have more information.

09.01.2022 Thanks to Signarama North Lakes for creating the standout signage on the twims. Really helps to promote who we are and what we do. Amanda and her team have been great to deal with and the quality of their work is top shelf.

01.01.2022 PureComm have now completed the replacement of the old 18RU wall mounted cabinet with a new 42RU floor mounted server cabinet for the Cathedral College at the Girls Residential Facility. Works were completed over a 2 day period during the holiday break to minimise disruption for staff and residents. The new installation looks far neater than before and by turning the cabinet 90 degrees accessibility has also been improved.

01.01.2022 Another victory in the war against disorganised data cabinets. PureComm have completed a full tidy up of the main server room cabinet and two ancilliary cabinets on the factory floor at Stramit Industries, Parkhurst. All patching was documented before removal. Unused equipment was removed and the remaining items were re arranged to allow the installation of much needed patch cord minders. All floor outlets were located, tested and relabelled as required before repatching. As per the customers request each patch lead has been labelled to allow a fast fix in the event that a lead has been removed in error. To minimise disruption to production, work was completed out of business hours, with 4 staff in attendance working as a team.
