22.01.2022 With the temp dropping, its time to re-introduce @iammarinaperry Flax Porridge recipe Check out the recipe below! Ingredients:... 1/2 cups whole flaxseeds 1/2 cup Chia seeds 1/2 - 1 cup Desiccated coconut 2 cups of nut milk/water (you may add more depending on the consistency you desire) Cinnamon 2-3 drops Stevia - to your sweetness desire Method: 1. Warm 1.5 cups of milk on stove 2. Blitz flaxseeds and chia seeds in blender to crack the seeds (dont blend to a complete powder) 3. Add seeds to milk and add more milk or water if desired 4. Add desiccated coconut to milk and seed mixture and add more milk or water if desired 5. Add cinnamon and stevia to your desire and then mix This should make 3 serves and will last up to 2 days in the fridge! Serve warm or cold with coconut yoghurt and peanut butter for a sweet treat You can also top your flaxseed porridge with some blueberries! 17.01.2022 RECIPE IDEA EASY CHOC-BANANA PEANUT BUTTER PROTEIN COOKIES (or almond!). Love your body but still enjoy treats with this delicious healthy biscuit recipe.. gluten, dairy & processed sugar-free, vegan.. soft and chewy and SO easy to make. YUM . . PREP TIME: 5-10 mins COOKING TIME: 15-20 mins... MAKES: 10-12 cookies . . Ingredients: . 1 cup Superfine blanched almond flour 1 tablespoon cacao powder 1 tablespoon stevia or honey (add/subtract to taste) 1 tablespoon coconut oil 1/2 cup Peanut Butter without added sugars/oils (can be substituted for another delicious nut butter like almond). If no added salt, add 1/4 teaspoon 1 banana 1 tablespoon cacao nibs . . Instructions: . Preheat oven to 190C To a large bowl, add all ingredients in order (except the nibs) stirring in as you go, and mashing the banana in evenly Add cacao nibs in at the very end and keeping stirring to create a thick batter Roll into small balls and place on greased baking tray 2 cms apart Press down on cookie with the back of a fork in a crisscross pattern, or jazz it up for the kids (or adult kids!) and use fun shape cutters Bake for 15-20 mins checking to see when hardened Transfer to a cooling rack using a thin metal spatula. They will fall apart easily until they have hardened during cooling so do your best to resist for 30 minutes! ENJOY once cooled See more

Ingredients: .... 2 medium pre-roasted beetroots 1 & 3/4 cup of chickpeas/430g can - presoaked overnight before 1 large lemon (zested) 1/2 large lemon (juiced) 1 healthy pinch of salt and black pepper 2 large cloves minced garlic 2-3 tablespoons tahini teaspoon ground cumin 1/4 cup virgin olive oil . Additional extra: cup x (25g) Walnuts - presoaked, toasted & chopped - TO SERVE . . Instructions: . Presoak chickpeas overnight beforehand To roast beets >> preheat oven to 190C. Remove the stem/root & wash beets until clean. Wrap beets in foil, after drizzling with a lil olive or avocado oil, wrap tightly, and roast for one hour or until tender (easily cut). Leave refrigerated in a bowl to catch juice & cool to room temp. . Once cooled, quarter beets & blend until ground Add all remaining ingredients (except olive oil) and blend til smooth and creamy Drizzle in olive oil as the hummus is mixing Taste & adjust seasonings (adding more salt, lemon juice, cumin or olive oil as required. More water or tahini can be added to adjust consistency depending on preference) Refrigerate or eat IMMEDIATELY! . . PREP TIME: 10 mins TOTAL TIME: 1 hr, 10 mins (incl. roasting) MAKES: 6 servings . . BONUS!!
