08.01.2022 Swarming season now that spring has arrived. Caught a small swarm last sat from a tree in a backyard. Apparently 20% bees are out scouting for new home when I put the hive box there to cut the swarm from the tree branches. Had to wait for evening time when those scouting and foraging bees have all come back and then I returned to pick up the hive box home Checking my other hives as I may have lost the queen in 1 colony. Had to combine 2 colonies into 1 hive/ colony last sat.

Do you know that every season, there are different flowers blooming and bees work all year round collecting nectar from blooming flowers? Hence every honey extraction at different time of year yield honey of different colours, flavours, density, viscosity, clarify etc. Also our honey are not heated so that all natural quality, enzymes and goodness of pure honey are retained as long as we store honey at room temperature. During cool weather or winter, our pure honey will crystallise over time and it is a natural process. To eat or use crystallised honey, simply submerge in lukewarm water and it will liquefy slowly,
