18.01.2022 It was so much fun painting the Black Cockatoos Pure Joy Art By Cathy style, I did two!!!! I haven't named the little fella's yet but it will be Rockhampton inspired as they remind me of my golfing days at Rockhampton Golf Club where we would see them only occassionally but they were always spectacular. If we saw 5 of them it would mean 5 days of rain apparently. The Cocky's were probably more accurate than the weatherman which wouldn't be hard. Darling Dahlia is finishe...d finally. My mum grew Daliah's the size of plates at our childhood home. They were beautiful I'm not sure what kind of flowers the last three are, maybe Wild Roses. They look beautiful all together. I will be adding some of the paintings to my Website this week. I will be taking all of these paintings, prints and more surprises to the Redcliffe Markets Good Friday Pop-Up It is a beautiful spot to be, right near the Redcliffe Jetty. The Redcliffe Festival of Sails coincides and word has it that the Easter Bunny may pay a visit. Would love to see you there. Come and say hi! That would mean PURE JOY to me. See more

18.01.2022 SOLD!!!!!! Well this has been a real HOOT! I bet Y'OWL are surprised to meet Mrs Owl. I have been trying to come up with a great name OWL night long but this is it. I think she is 'OWLSOME and 'I'm sure her new owner, who has been waiting some time for her OWL to be OWL finished, will give her a more OWLPROPRIATE name. It's OWL good!!!!!! 04.01.2022 Ever wanted to buy a print but were worried about framing. There are plenty of stores that carry affordable frames in standard and various sizes. There are many online custom framing business or just go into your local framer for a quality custom frame. I would recommend a nice thick mat to keep your print from touching the glass. I have made a little list of some stores below to help you out. My prints are of an extremely high quality. No shiny paper here just beautiful ...textured cotton rag which are an image of their original. They have been professionally photographed by a local Brisbane family owned business.
