21.01.2022 Lots of NTs are wondering how to make their salon safer. I LOVE that kind of thinking, so let me help. Many are considering they should start wearing dust m...asks, which I applaud. Of course, once this crisis is over, get rid of your DIY mask and start using N95 or FFP-2 masks or better to control dusts. DIY mask wont cut it in the salon, except as a last desperate resort and even then thats risky business since DIY mask can NOT protect you from dusts inhalation. And, dont fool yourself into thinking all you need is one of those fancy new Plexiglas table mounted sneeze guards. That is NOT enough to ensure safety for you and your clients. Of course, Im not opposed to using them, but thats not all you need. It would be very foolish to place all of your eggs in that basket. You will quickly learn that Plexiglas attracts dusts like a magnet. SO, if you use a Plexiglas guard, you will need to use "source capture ventilation" to control dusts as well, even more so now. A proper, source capture ventilation is one of the very best way to reduce dusts (and vapors). It is important to understand that viruses and other pathogens dont have "wings", but they do have "magic carpets" -- meaning they take rides on dust particles that fly them all around the room for everyone to inhale. Dusts can carry pathogens, so if you dont control nail filings/dust, you are NOT doing all you can to control potentially infectious pathogens. As you know, I dont recommend products on FB, except when it comes to safety. e.g ventilation. Presently, the only salon appropriate ventilation systems I recommend are sold by Aerovex Systems and Filtronics AB. You can buy cheaper, but you will get cheaper and likely not nearly as effective. Invest wisely in ventilation, and buy the best you can and use it. Buy a quality ventilation unit designed for salons, not something made for living or bed rooms. The world has changed and now proper ventilation is NOT just for your protection, but ALSO for the protection of everyone who enters the salon, including clients and co-workers. Its time to get serious about your ventilation and breathe easier. Safety is the "New Reality" in nail salons. So, get your safety on and prepare for the coming salon appointment surge. I predict its going to get busy soon, so be ready and be safe.

We cant fit everyone in on the first day we open...so please be patient, you will get an appointment. It may not be on the first day, you may even have to wait a week, but it will happen.
