07.01.2022 We have been advised by the Australian Dental Association (ADA) this evening that the Australian Health Protection Principal Commitee (AHPPC) will be recommending to the National Cabinet that dental practices implement level 3 restrictions as outlined by the ADA due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Level 3 restrictions mean that we will only be able to see dental emergencies and perform dental treatments that do not generate aerosols, or where treatment generating aerosols a...re limited. All routine examinations and treatment will be deferred until restrictions are lifted. We will be moving to implement level 3 restrictions immediately from our current level 2. We will continue to monitor the ongoing COVID-19 situation and keep you updated should there be any changes. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused you but ask for your understanding that this is for the safety of the community. Sincerely, Purely Dental
