19.01.2022 Toy and Food drive for Carries Place When we first spoke about doing something for those in need this Christmas, my beautiful wife, Rikki, grabbed this project by the horns. She reached out to Australia’s CEO Challenge (Workplace partners for Family and Domestic Violence programs), to see who we could help and they then put us in contact with the amazing people at Carries Place in Maitland. They provide a range of programs and support for people experiencing domestic and f...amily violence, and/or homelessness. We asked them what they are in need of most this Christmas and they told us after such an incredibly difficult year for so many, they really need donations of new toys for children of all ages and non perishable food items. At first this was just going to be something that we would do on behalf of everyone who has ever supported Pure Movement Performance, but after speaking to a few people they insisted it was a nice opportunity to open up to others. If you would like to support, you can get in contact with me and we can work something out. Any donations, big or small are all welcome! Please don’t feel any obligation, we understand that this time of year can be tough for a lot of people. This was initially going to be something that we were doing instead of trying to buy something for all of the amazing people we see come through our doors. So please know, the gifts we give are not just from us, but from everyone who supports us. A big thank you to everyone who we have seen this year. 15.01.2022 A big thankyou to all of our amazing supporters who contributed to our Christmas Carrie’s place appeal. We delivered 2 full car loads of groceries, and amazing toy gifts and almost $1000 in grocery gift cards to support families in need. This Christmas we hope that you can rejoice in the fact that you contributed to provide food so families dont going hungry and provided toys for children who may not have otherwise received a gift.
