In todays busy lifestyle we are often told to make sure you fit in time for yourself and to make sure your cup is full, in order to fill the cups of others (especially as parents) And this is great and soo true. But recently I have personally experienced that its just as important to fill the cup of your relationship, something that had been pushed aside in the chaos of family life. And was close to being destroyed. Thanks ...to wonderful friends and family my husband and I have been able to reconnect and take a couple nights away. Weve looked at ways we can reduce stress in our home and will MAKE the time to spend together (even if its putting our phones away and talking or playing board games once the kids are in bed). We know how hard it is to get out of the house together without the kids in tow so we will get creative to get that time together (and friends who havent got the support network close by do sing out, I am happy to babysit, just ask!).
