18.01.2022 Whenever we can't find Rafferty, we just look in the top of the wardrobe where we store our luggage. Like the rest of the world we think he's got itchy feet (or should we say paws). One day......

17.01.2022 Say Hello to our new Office Staff! Should we name them?

17.01.2022 Today we had a visit from Dr Mandy and Nurse Kim from Bendigo Pet Vets - Mobile Veterinary Clinic. Specialising in at-home treatment for dogs, cats and bunnies, and utilising 'Fear Free' methods, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them if you require that service. We love how passionate they are towards caring for animals. ... And we love their hot pink scrubs... They totally enjoyed their visit to Purrs, and it certainly looks like they were quite happy to settle in!

15.01.2022 Toby and I just catching some rays in our garden room, whilst daydreaming that we are holidaying on a tropical island!

15.01.2022 "Thank you so much for looking after Maska so we could get away in the caravan for the first time this year and we are happy to book in for Christmas be for the big rush thanks again" ~ Maska's Mum Maska is pretty excited about this.

14.01.2022 What a lovely end to the day after serving dinner, goodnight cuddles, and tucking our beautiful purr- cats into their cozy beds. Lighting the way for the stroll back to servants quarters. ...

13.01.2022 Allen's Black Cats now in their own pack. I am so happy right now!

10.01.2022 "Snooker" is in the pocket.

08.01.2022 Well hello there Spring! "Princess"

08.01.2022 Unlike the rest of the world we had our first Zoom meeting just today! As suspected, one of our cats misbehaved during the meeting. We didn't get footage but it was close enough to this. They have no shame.

07.01.2022 I always like to give our guests an extra cuddle and thank them for staying before they go home. Toby checked out today and I was lucky enough to get an eyelash kiss! I'm not sure what he thought of the mask, maybe a bit matchy matchy.

07.01.2022 Just cat-ching up on some officework. It seems to always take longer than you think.

07.01.2022 Hello there! Can you help us? We're after statistics! Were you planning a trip towards Melbourne and have rethought your plans? Are you still in hiding (like the kitty in the picture)? Please let us know in comments. Thanks! 04.01.2022 From 11.59pm 31st May ~ Overnight stays and camping (for humans) allowed. You will be able to 'get on the beers' at home with your mates. (Thanks Dan!). Of course, cats were always allowed overnight stays, and chose Purrs as their preference.

03.01.2022 Covid 19 has halted the production of many films worldwide but we've managed to sneak this one through with the help of the very talented Brandon from Vid.Co. Thanks Brandon! Special thanks to our feline stars: Reyes Astrid... Sweetie Leia Toby and Holly. (who by the way would love for you to share this video to aid in their quest for stardom!) Star guest appearance and outstanding performance by Sweetie's owner, Harry. What do you think? Are we up for an Oscar? We would love to know your thoughts! Craig and Jacinta

01.01.2022 This is pretty girl "Stitch" during her last vacation at Purrs. Last week Stitch went missing from her home and luckily returned home with her tail between her legs, smelling like smoke. Naughty Stitch. Sounds like she was out on the town, smoking, drinking, possibly dancing the night away. She's home now. Safe. And grounded. ... Like the rest of us. See more

01.01.2022 It's Craig's 60th Birthday today! No big shindigs or shenanigans for us during the current climate, but the resident cats did sing Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday Craig! ... Note: this picture was taken pre-covid before social distancing recommendations were put in place.

01.01.2022 Behind the scenes.... It's been a little quite lately and that's to be expected. The servants here at Purrs aren't the type to lay around 'catnapping' for too long and we have been busy with a few little odd jobs around the place.... Yes, 'cool cats and kittens', we did sit down and watch 'that' documentary at the start of our 'lockdown', and once we were over the trauma of that, we got to work! At the servants quarters, Jacinta has washed almost every wall and ceiling in the house, and repainted the lounge, kitchen and dining. There's nothing like a fresh coat of paint to brighten your day! Craig has been busy with a little landscaping within the servants quarters gardens and has constructed the mother of all aquaduct systems on the property. This will gather sufficient water from the property and ensure we have plenty of water in store for the summer fire season. Drainage around the Cattery carpark is also now much improved. We are now busy working on improving systems at the Cattery to make yours and your cats experience even more enjoyable. We will let you know about these improvements as they happen, and if you have any ideas, feel free to comment. That's it for now from the servants here at Purrs. We'll keep you updated!
