25.01.2022 Reopening announcement! We will be back indoors soon!

21.01.2022 Losing weight and body fat is already hard work, don't overcomplicate it and make it harder. This is Matt. In less than 5 months, he lost 16kg and brought his body fat down to a single digit percentage. He followed a 4x per week resistance training program, and had the freedom to add more training of any kind in if he felt like it. I believe his favourite additions were a run and some ab work. ... He didn't eliminate any foods, but we set goals for energy intake for a deficit and macronutrients to follow, and helped work with him and educate on when is the best times to eat what kinds of food. He even had a massive "cheat meal" each fortnight. He's even a shift worker, making managing sleep, stress and recovery more important. He has done such a great job, im incredibly proud of this man

18.01.2022 Our new Push Band 2.0 has finally arrived! The Push Band is an accelerometer used to measure the acceleration and velocity of of an athlete or tool, like a barbell. Velocity-based performance training will be added to our coaching over the next few weeks. Pretty exciting, I love new toys!... Seriously though, international postage right now sucks.

13.01.2022 Velocity based training is an awesome tool for improving athleticism. We have been implementing the Push Band 2.0 with certain clients and athletes since returning from lockdown and have seen incredible results. Maximising the performance intent of movement, measuring velocity and power output, using velocity cut-offs to inform fatigue and further prescription.... Our goal here at Pursuing Movement is to help our athletes and clients perform at their peak and remain stable and pain free. Always learning and improving methods to strive for the best possible outcomes
