18.01.2022 What Is the Best Way to Lose Fat? The simple (and complicated) answer is that there is no best way to lose fat. Most people are after a specific diet or exercise to get rid of excess fat from different areas of the body. The truth is that you will lose fat when you continuously get less energy than you use. No matter what you eat and when. And people tend to forget that all exercising burns calories. Of course, HIIT may burn more than walking, but you should always aim f...or exercises that you like because you are better to maintain things that you make you feel good. Fat never burns locally. It will always disappear first there where it first came no matter how hard you do sit-ups. But doing resistance training will increase muscle mass, and it forces fat to divide into the broader surface area. 16.01.2022 TIME TO GO DOWN MEMORY LANE Wrapping up the week on what’s been our official 10 years in business. Reflecting back to where we are today, I’m so grateful to all those who have come through the doors, to the trainers who I’ve worked with and for the Pursuit Fitness community that is more like a family .... 16.01.2022 Do not let running overwhelm you when you think about it. Take it one step at at time, go for a walk/jog then as your fitness improve move into a longer job and then into a run/jog/walk and soon enough you will be running an entire distance. Start small with 3km circuit and build to 5km or even 10km, over a period of time. If your knees and hips don't allow running to be an easy task for you, then jump on a bike and take the impact away from your joints.

16.01.2022 Well what a week it has been and although I was prepared, I was never really prepared for the impact this would have on myself, Charlotte and our members. On Sunday night we got told by the PM to lock it down because we could no longer train outdoors as a group anymore and it officially broke my heart. In 11 hours I had to reprogram our week ready for our first all in Virtual Group Training Sessions the next morning. We haven’t looked back since! I have loved diving into this... new space with my people and I cannot thank them enough for being so optimistic and supportive. Some have trained more at home than when they came to group due to the convenience Thanks Charlotte for the support and going into this head first like a boss with me! Its been a hell of a week but we are now prepared and ready to absolutely dominate this space and this time and continue to grow as human beings and still get fit AF. 04.01.2022 How do I get a flat Stomach? The abdominals are just like any other muscle group, for their definition to become visible, they must grow larger and the fat that lies over them must decrease. What makes the definition of the abdominals so difficult to see is that they are situated in the area of the body that contains the most fat. Training the abdominals is only half the story. Second part is nutrition. I can guarantee you that there is no specific diet for flat stomach or... to "burn belly-fat". It's all about balance between your energy expenditure and calorie intake. If you want to lose fat, you have to get less energy than you use. Of course you should eat healthy food (I bet that you know what that means!) and ensure sufficient protein intake etc. In the end you will get results you want when you combine progressive training (resistance+endurance) and proper food. #pursuitfitness #sunshinecoastpersonaltraining #sunshinecoastvirtualgrouptraining #getabs
