24.01.2022 Trainer Profile - Sarah Being able to have the opportunity to work as a Personal Trainer is such an amazing roller coaster! Working with clients and being able to achieve their goals makes me smile more than you thought I could! I strive for that awesome sensation of being able to personally learn how each client loves to train and always finding new ways to push them each week (w/o them completing hating me of course )... I love getting to know people and making them laugh and enjoy their time at the gym. I definitely try to implement that into training and to ensure that exercise isn’t something to be afraid of, it’s there to look forward to. It’s an awesome experience, being able to bounce off each other’s personalities and create such a comfortable and sweaty environment to strive for bigger and better goals! I must say I am a very upbeat, bubbly typa gal so my brain is always working and thinking of funky, creative ways to train, which brings excitement to each session!

22.01.2022 * Trainer Profile - Matt We all know Matt... remember when he had straight hair?! So we thought it was time to get to know him a little better... As a Trainer, my passion stems from helping others feel amazing about themselves, confident, happy and motivated! ... As I have always played sport (currently football with a background in Soccer) working with athletes is a HUGE love of mine! Training an Athlete is not just physical it’s a lot to do mentally and of course, hard work! Passing on my experience in athletics is a motivation of mine. If you haven’t noticed, I love putting a big smile on people’s face and ensuring people enjoy exercise rather then be scared or nervous of training! Training should be fun and always something to look forward too! There’s also something so special about helping people achieve goals in their health and fitness they never thought possible. It’s the best feeling. You can catch Matt in classes Monday - Friday and on the floor with his PT clients daily. You may also see him running the streets of Lightsview on his lunch break!

We welcome Jordan Tippins to the team who was successful in completing his Certificate III in Fitness during 2020 as part of the SAASTA AFL Aboriginal Academy delivered by Pushing Performance. It was throughout t...his course that Jordan displayed a commitment and willingness to help others, inspire his peers and is driven by a career in the fitness industry. It is without a doubt that he will be an incredible influencer and as a reward for his dedication Jordan was a successful recipient of the Pushing Performance Pathway scholarship. This means that Pushing Performance will fund Jordan’s ongoing training by completing his cert IV in fitness whilst gaining employment. This opportunity for Jordan is a testament to SAASTA and the job pathway opportunities they provide for young aboriginal people throughout South Australia. Here is a little more from Jordan himself Hey guys!! I’m Jordan and I am so excited to be joining the team at Pushing Performance; especially meeting all of the amazing members. I started my pathway to personal training this year and with Simon Lucas as my mentor as well as the support of the entire Pushing Performance team I have gained some incredible skills, expanded my knowledge and can’t wait to inspire the community. I love when my clients hit their goals and achieve what they’ve been aiming for, it’s the best feeling! ...
