12.01.2022 Today we were lucky enough to have a visit from Shanon from Push The Limit The preschool children were able to learn about inclusivity and social justice while ...engaging in age appropriate games and having the opportunity to ask Shanon questions. The workshop allowed our children to engage in a meaningful experience while learning about differences and developing an understanding of reciprocal rights and responsibilities. Thank you Shanon for exploring these concepts with us today!

01.01.2022 This morning our Mascot centre welcomed Shannon from Push The Limit to share his knowledge about disability awareness and inclusion. Introducing this topic in t...he early years has the aim of disabilities being seen as everyday life and the hope of more acceptance tomorrow. Shannon spoke to the children about blindness. The children led each other around with a blindfold on to see what it would feel like walking and not being able to see. The most fun was had with the wheelchair races everyone tested the muscles a lot of the children commented they thought it was a lot harder than they thought it would be. #toyboxmascot #toyboxpartners #toyboxexplorers #pushthelimitau #disabilityawareness #inclusionmatters
