25.01.2022 Good news we are allowed to re-open as of 28th September non contact. Please be patient with me. I have a list of booking requests as long as my arm as of Monday I will start booking in and returning calls and messages. I will do this in order that the booking requests came in (it's the fairest way). Still getting information as to what we need to put in place and if the 5klm rule will still apply. Thank you we can't wait to see you all again

23.01.2022 Wishing our wonderful Tarrah a Happy 35th Birthday

22.01.2022 Grooming at home Tip 1/. When bathing make sure you brush the coat well before you bath. Knots will get worse when bathed. Try to get them out before hand. Wet the coat all over, shampoo scrub all-over rinse off well then repeat. The 2nd wash pay attention to the ears face feet all the places that get really dirty. If you feel the coat is not clean repeat process until it is. Hope this helps

22.01.2022 To our valued and cherished clients. We hope you are all well physically and mentally . Once again from today's announcement it is not clear what classification dog grooming falls under. I'm hoping we will be included in the business that will be set to re-open 28th September. BUT it is looking more likely will be be classed as retail hairdressers etc set to re-open 26 October. As soon as we have accurate classification I will update you all. We have a long list of clie...nts waiting to be booked in, so if you would like to get your fur-kid on the list, text your dogs name and breed and we will get back to you when we have a clear date for reopening. Also, if you have any questions, queries or quandaries about keeping your fur-kids brushed, don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help! In spirit, if not in person. Please hug and kiss your fur-kids we miss them so much. Nicole Tarrah and Karlie

15.01.2022 PLEASE SHARE Due to no fault of their own Valentino and Bonita have returned to RCR. Whilst the couple that adopted these two babies adored them unfortunately t...hey decided they could no longer give them a home. I'm not going to go into the reasons why but needless to say I am devasted for these two beautiful bubbas. At least they did the right thing and returned them to me. They have been back with me for a week but I have not posted about it as I was just too upset and it has taken these bubbas a few days to adjust to being back again. Bonita and Valentino are both looking for their forever homes together. I will not split them up. Please do not contact me in regards to these guys unless you have really thought things through. This is a 20 year commitment. These bubbas and all bubba's are not an 'isolation project' . I want only the very best indoor only or indoor with a catrun home. I would prefer them to be the only bubba's as they are both very affectionate and crave your attention. Valentino and Bonita want to sleep in your bed with you so if that is not what you are looking for then these two are not the right match for you. I'm sorry if I sound a little abrupt but I need to ensure the next home these bubbas go to is the right one. They are both desexed, microchipped, flea and worm treated and have had their 3 vaccinations. Located Melbourne Pakenham. EE101477 900164001907873 900164001907876 See more

13.01.2022 We extend our apologies for the current parking situation, or lack there of With the merging of the two veterinary practices and increased staff , it has left us with no parking for our own clients. Feel free to double park, fit in where you can and practice your 20 point turns getting out ... Unfortunately the situation is beyond our control.

10.01.2022 Guys.. I know 6 weeks seems like a long time But please step away from the kitchen scissors, the $15 Kmart clippers, lawn mowers and hedge trimmers...... Day 1 of close down and I needed a laugh

10.01.2022 Hi guys! Nicole and myself will be doing call backs for appointments TODAY from 1PM We have close to 300 dogs on our list ... Please understand that just these bookings alone are THREE WEEKS+ worth of work for our team and the phone is still ringing daily I understand that many of you are impatient to get your fur babies done as soon as we get back on the 28th but its just not possible to squeeze you all in on the first week! COVID procedures greatly effect how we can operate within the salon and how we book and take in dogs, this unfortunately slows us down and reduces the daily number we can get through. Call backs will be done in order of the time stamps on calls and messages as this is the fairest way. So saying that, please try to stick by your phone this afternoon The weeks will fill fast and we cannot hold appointment spots. Please also think about booking your appointments all the way up until Christmas This sudden wave of appointments , plus the usual summer rush, will effect booking places for the rest of the year! Looking forward to seeing you all and getting back to days of puppy cuddles

08.01.2022 They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. Lest we forget

08.01.2022 Hi guys, A little something to brighten your day during COVID. Over 8 months on from the devastating 19/20 bushfires, so many regions are still struggling to recover.... Many people are homeless, living in caravans, or knock up sheds during a freezing winter. Many farmers are underinsured, and due to typical bureaucracy, qualify for no funding for farm necessities like boundary fencing. The media has long left East Gippsland but the struggle is still very real for hundreds of people. Luckily help is at hand. Just like during the fires when ordinary Aussies donated goods, monies and just pitched in to lend a hand to their fellow Australians, the volunteer efforts still continue up here. Paul Golby and his crew from #bushfirefencing have been working tirelessly since January, to restore boundary fences for fire affected farmers in East Gippsland, donating their weekends, annual leave, tools, fuel and labour to get things done Id love if you guys could simply pop over and like his page and share with your friends. Please spread the good work being done out here, i feel its so important particularly now, during these difficult times, that we witness the best of the Australian spirit at work. Much love Tarrah

06.01.2022 COVID UPDATE Please note we will be closed for the 6 week lockdown period from end of trade Wednesday 5th August. We have no more available appointments.... Whilst we are still waiting for official clarification from the Victorian Government regarding grooming salons and many industry members fight to find loopholes in which we can stay open, we have decided the responsible decision is to close. We want to see you ALL on the other side of this. Safe. Healthy and well. Its not an easy decision but its the right decision. Stay Safe and well see you in 6 weeks

05.01.2022 STAGE TWO LOCKDOWN MEASURES. Please read. Attention Puss N Pooch customers ... At this stage we are open though this may change at a moments notice depending on Government lock downs. It goes without saying. If you are sick. If you have been sick in the last 14 days. If your kids are sick. If you have travelled. If you have been in contact with someone who has travelled or has been unwell.. PLEASE. Do not attend your appointment! We have moved to our own Stage Two social distancing measures. We are now employing NO CLIENT CONTACT. Clients are not permitted in the salon under any circumstances! If you have an appointment, you will see crates set up outside the salon entrance, at the top of the ramp inside the pool gate. Please pop your fur baby inside a crate and take ALL leads, collars and pet clothing with you. We will collect them from the crate and then repeat the procedure for pick up. We are now operating at a reduced capacity, one dog at a time in ONE HOUR BLOCKS ONLY with time to fully sanitise allotted within and 10 minutes outside that hour. This only works is everyone is 100% PUNCTUAL. Both for drop off and pick up. I cannot stress this part enough! Without your cooperation this just won't work and we will have to cease trade immediately. ALL appointments are to be prepaid via bank deposit PRIOR to your appointment and a receipt sent to us via phone or messenger. This can be done the day before or before drop off. But NO services will be provided before payment is made and proof of receipt sent. Unfortunately a few bad eggs have ruined it for the rest by non payment. No pay. No groom. No cash will be accepted. Bank details are. Nicole Wilcox BSB# 083-414 ACC# 945093314* Dogs name as reference* We ask you to adhere to these rules for the protection of our vulnerable loved ones and to ensure we can continue to look after your babies for as long as we are able. We're all nervous, it's uncharted territory for us all. But together we will all get through it. Thank you The Puss n Pooch Team

02.01.2022 To our valued clients. Just a quick update on the current situation. We are currently still open and to the best of my understanding you are still allowed to travel to have your dog groomed, providing you live within the 5k radius of the salon. I have not been able to get clarification if you can travel to get your dog groomed if you live outside the 5k raduis We won't know if we'll be forced to close from Thursday and I guess we'll find out today together. However , we still have a few appointments available for Tuesday and Wednesday if you are in need of getting your pooch groomed. (All future appointments conditional on any announcements made today of course!) Stay safe everybody xx
