18.01.2022 NAIDOC week is an opportunity for all Australian people to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. NAIDOC week 2020 runs from 8-15 of November and the theme is 'Always was, Always will be'. We would like to pay our respects and acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land that Putney Public School rests, the Wallumedegal people of the Eora nation and pay respect to Elders both past, present and emerging.

02.01.2022 Yesterday Koomurri Aboriginal Incursions lead an incursion as part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations. NAIDOC week celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples history, culture and achievements. It was a fantastic day where the students were able to listen, learn and engage in First Nations culture through story, dance, art and boomerang throwing!
