24.01.2022 Just a reminder that as of 2020, I'm offering increased flexibility regarding appointments. Rather than having to meet in person, I'm happy to complete interviews over the telephone, if this suits your circumstances. This arrangement may suit some clients, however, I'm still obviously available for in-person discussions. Happy to discuss your individual preferences.

23.01.2022 Just wanted to say 'Thank You' to so many current and new clients that continue to support my little business. After a really quiet April, I'm right back into writing Resumes and developing job applications. Sadly, there have been so many job losses and so much instability in employment with local business closures and Government Department funding cuts. People are hurting badly. I really appreciate your custom and will continue to do my best in what I do.

15.01.2022 2020 is a year I'll never forget. Against the odds, I am busier than ever. I have, however, noticed a bit of a trend in the past month or so with a number of clients reporting back regarding interview situations. Each has been interviewed for a role that they are either very familiar with, or have well and truly met the requirements for. I'm hearing reports that they are going 'blank' or freezing when trying to respond to otherwise very straightforward questions. One highly t...rained and very experienced lady described hers as a 'train wreck.' I can't help but wonder if the underlying stress of our 'new' lives is somehow impacting this and our personal lives so much more than we realise. We are all tired and unsure of what's ahead in these uncertain and extremely challenging times. For me personally, I miss the freedom and certainty of making plans, but for many others, there is so much more pain. Please reach out for help if needed.

Can I suggest that you check through your Resume and ensure that everything is up to date? 01.01.2022 TAFE NSW is offering free online courses aimed at enabling people to upskill during the coming months. Universities are also offering large discounts for courses to upskill if you've already completed tertiary training. Could be a great option for many during the enforced changes impacting everyone.
