09.01.2022 Wayne Butcher, Director of the Puuya Foundation and Mayor of the Lockhart River Aboriginal Shire Council believes in a good education. He took time out of his busy schedule to be with his daughter and to participate in our early years Montessori Program. Wayne continues to reinforce to the community the importance of education and the opportunities that a good education can provide individuals.

09.01.2022 The Puuya Foundation are very proud to share a stunning new video Walk With Me performed by the Australian Girls Choir with the Girls from Oz that showcases their commitment to reconciliation. The Foundation has partnered with the Girls from Oz over a number of years, and you will see some lovely local Lockhart River girls who have participated in this program. The performing arts program aims to improve educational and employment outcomes for girls in remote and regional Australia.
