20.01.2022 Whats on after Pink Up Your Town - Ballan, well its time for the Ballan Jockey Club to run the Ballan Community Bank Cup. https://www.facebook.com/events/2417192391837393/ They have generously donated 2 tickets for the Media Puzzle Room where you can get a 2-course meal and a drinks package to attend the Ballan Cup this year to be auctioned at the PINK Mayoral Ball - Pink Up Your Town Ballan. They are even doing a Free bus to the Geelong so you can attend safely. ... Thanks Ballan Jockey Club.

16.01.2022 UPDATE We are 95% ready to do a lump sum donation to the McGrath Foundation, but are still waiting on a couple of promised donations to appear in our account. There is still time to do this if you need to as we are holding off until the end of the week, after we have had a chance to make contact. 12.01.2022 The last Public Meeting for October is on tonight.. Where has the month gone? Come along as we finalise the run sheet, table plans, and everything else needed for the big night.

10.01.2022 On reflection October was a massive month for everyone involved in Pink Up Your Town - Ballan. For the committee, it started long before October as we began planning how we could make Ballan and its surrounds PINK. We had fortnightly, then weekly meetings, and brought so many business and community groups together, mainy under their own drive and through a common passion. Our wonderful region has got behind us, and stood up when we needed them to. From local events at the ...different hotels, to cricket matches, to VIP nights, and the sale of so many custom made candles, earrings, and wristbands, Ballan really did pink up our town. We would like to recognise everyone that joined in and either donated, contributed time or resources, and to recognise the volunteers that spent many hours on cold nights making this happen. I will continue to thank the volunteers personally and at our debrief meeting in a couple of weeks. We would also like to thank everyone that gave us the motivation to keep on going. If we miss you off the list, sorry, but please tag yourself in this post. 07.01.2022 Over the week since the PINK Mayoral Ball - Pink Up Your Town Ballan, we have had some pretty awesome and positive feedback about all the effort that went into making the night special for so many people. We would like to recognise the talent that made the night come alive and so enjoyable. Pink Up Your Town - Ballan recognises the services that were provided gratis to the event, which allowed us to maximise our donation figures. An amazing amount of effort went into produci...ng the night. The band "Celtic Soul" played for hours, Lance DeBoyle and Gabriella Labucci from Lance TV Ballarat brought a flair to the night as only they can, Unik Backdrops for providing the photographic centrepiece for the ball room Chris Leonard of PRDnationwide Ballarat for his high energy auctioneering efforts All the volunteers that made their way around the room, handed out tickets, and showed our guests to their seats

07.01.2022 Well with about 24 hours until the PINK Mayoral Ball - Pink Up Your Town Ballan we are putting the finishing pink touches and making sure that there is pink on pink on pink. The Auction items, Raffle Prizes, Door Prizes and overall offers of assistance and help has been outstanding. So as the month of October comes to an end tonight, we will see it out in style tomorrow night as we welcome Ms Tracy Bevan from the McGrath Foundation into our wonderful region and home of Moor...abool. We would not have got here without the late nights, the dedication, and the contribution of the volunteers and business who joined in. The fundraising will be tallied and recognition for all sent once we catch up on sleep post Mayoral Ball. However, we are currently working on adding the numbers up, and doing the reconciliation of all the donations made via the bank account.. If you were running a month long event, or a "donate x from y during October" event, can you please finalise your contribution before Tuesday the 12th of November and let us know how you went please.
