25.01.2022 Congratulations to our manufacturing team for winning the SME Northamptonshire Business Awards for Business Innovation for their work on PVStop..........Great result Team!

24.01.2022 Solar energy is growing exponentially in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, China, India, UAE, Europe, North America, South America in fact everywhere. How do you make solar energy safe in an emergency situation? PVSTOP!

23.01.2022 More compelling evidence that the number of solar PV fires (globally) are growing and also significantly under-reported. Preventative IR detection is another good step in the right direction towards improving safety, however when an incident does occur (as they will continue to do on an ever increasing basis) first responders do not have adequate procedures or equipment to deal with solar PV fires. This is why we developed PVSTOP which is now being adopted by an ever increa...sing number of forward thinking fire and emergency services agencies and commercial PV system owners. https://pv-magazine-usa.com//solar-system-fires-are-on-th/

22.01.2022 It is great to see renewable energy continue to go from strength to strength, but rooftop solar continues to be a growing challenge for fire and emergency services personnel. PVSTOP is being increasingly utilised by fire and emergency services to mitigate the risks associated with solar PV systems. We are proud to be of service to our emergency services agencies and promoting clean energy uptake by improving safety in the renewable energy sector.

22.01.2022 Even as the UK battles through the current COVID-19 crisis, Fire Brigades must still continue to perform their duties to keep their communities safe. In the midst of all negative news washing around at the moment, we received some positive news from the London Fire Brigade today, informing us that PVStop was once again successfully deployed at a 4 Pump fire in Bromley to render the damaged solar panels electrically safe (see link below). The feedback from the crews was glowing and continues to add to the growing list of evidence that proves that PVStop significantly enhances safety at incidents involving solar PV systems. Great to see the London Fire Brigade continuing to lead the way in new technology and firefighter safety! https://www.london-fire.gov.uk/incidents//flat-fire-penge/

22.01.2022 PVStop got a great write up in The Australian today, awareness of the risks associated with damaged or sub-standard solar panels is on the rise, even more so in light of our recent bushfire crisis.

21.01.2022 Further validation from Fire & Rescue NSW that solar panel fires are on the increase. PVStop is the ONLY product available that safely de-energises solar panel systems at the source, a quantum leap in firefighter and community safety!

21.01.2022 Very excited that PVStop was utilised during the maiden incident for the new FRNSW Bronto Skylift. Both great assets that assist firefighters to improve community safety!

18.01.2022 Congratulations to the IFE on a remarkable centenary!

18.01.2022 We sometimes get the comment, rather than use PVSTOP to isolate power, couldnt you just wait till nighttime for the panels to be electrically safe? The short answer is no, there are many scenarios where simply waiting for the sun to set wont solve the problem. Based on this article it seems there will be even more need for PVSTOP in the future as PV technology continues to evolve!

12.01.2022 We are feeling very proud and honoured today, PVStop have just won the 2018 Innovative Product & Technology Award in the national Fire Protection Association Australia Awards. This is the first year that FPA Australia have included a category for innovation, so another first for PVStop! Thank you to FPA Australia for this great honour and assisting us to raise awareness of the safety risks associated with Solar PV arrays and thank you to the leading Fire & Emergency Services Agencies in Australia (and around the world) who are taking positive action to improve safety for their personnel and their communities.

11.01.2022 Another perfect example of the unanticipated risks associated with new technology. Education, new tools and well considered, regularly updated procedures are all essential to improve firefighter safety!

10.01.2022 Our team in the UK had an extremely busy and productive first day at the LGA Annual Fire Conference in Newcastle!

10.01.2022 Our US distributor Flashpoint Fire Equipment doing a great job of highlighting PV safety issues for US Fire Departments!

10.01.2022 1 in 5 houses across Australia now feature a solar panel system (2 million installations in total). The this figure is forecast to rise to 1 in 2 houses within the next 10 years. This is a perfect example of the growing risks faced by firefighters who are now facing incidents involving solar panels on a weekly basis. As long as Solar panels are exposed to light, they are producing DC electricity. So in the picture above, the solar panels are definitely "live" and represent an electrical risk. FRNSW are conducting a limited trial of a product called PVStop which has been proven by the London Fire Brigade to significantly improve firefighter safety at incidents involving solar panels. Here is a youtube link that shows how the product works https://youtu.be/wc-qRISs7fo. Stay safe!

09.01.2022 A very interesting discussion on Fire Service Solar PV Safety concerns and duty of care!

08.01.2022 A "perfect storm" of Solar Panel risks exposed in Australia!

08.01.2022 McDonald new "Experience of the Future" concept to be the blueprint for 14,000 store upgrades across the US by 2020 including 1000 solar panels on the roof! Looks like we've got a lot of work ahead of us in the US.............and everywhere else!

07.01.2022 Glad to hear no one was injured at this incident. A perfect example of an incident where PVStop could improve firefighter safety and offer a superior incident response strategy!

07.01.2022 Wareham Week reports how a marina in Wareham, MA has turned to solar panels to cut their energy bill to $0. This facility is 100% powered by solar panels and pr...oduces around 200,000-Kilowatt hours annually. This is one of the first marinas in New England to turn to solar and there will be more to come. With more corporate buildings using solar panels, firefighters will need to adjust their plan of action when dealing with fires that have solar panels involved. https://wareham-ma.villagesoup.com/p/energy-costs-0/1716068 See more

06.01.2022 The CFA doing a great job of preventing the escalation of an intentionally lit bushfire. Note the air conditioning unit fire encroaching on the solar panels. PVStop could have been deployed to remove any doubt from this scenario and improve the safety of our first responders!

06.01.2022 We are receiving a large influx of inquiries as the LFB shares their positive operational experiences utilising PVStop. The message is spreading!

06.01.2022 "Firefighters rarely turn the planning part of their brains off, says Peter Lynch, Chief of Training at the Vermont Fire Academy. 'If youre driving down the ro...ad with a firefighter, more than likely, theyre looking at the next building saying, If we needed to save this building, how would we do it?" Make sure your department has a plan for solar panel emergencies. #PVStop #atoolformakingsolarsafe https://www.wired.com//rooftop-solar-panels-great-planet-/

05.01.2022 Very proud to be contributing to firefighter safety, well done FRNSW Parramatta! Wishing everyone a safe and Merry Christmas from all the team at PVStop!

04.01.2022 Another huge milestone for PVStop. The London Fire Brigade confirm that PVStop was instrumental in saving a school from burning down in Twickenham. Improving Firefighter Safety and saving a school, not a bad days work!

03.01.2022 Another milestone for us today, our Australian Distributor, Fire Rescue Safety Australia (FRSA) officially launched PVStop. We are very excited to be working with FRSA, they are a great team, love what they do and have a lot of fun along the way, no wonder they are one of the best distributors in the country! Check out the FRSA website www.frsa.com.au and follow their page on FB if you like what you see!

03.01.2022 Another glowing review and affirmation of PVStop. We are receiving an ever increasing number of inquiries from both Fire Services and Insurance Companies from around the world!

03.01.2022 After the recent solar panel fire at an IKEA store in Chicago, we now have another at a Walmart in Indio. This time 2 Firefighters and civilian were injured! We really need to get PVStop out to US Fire Departments ASAP!

02.01.2022 We predicted the increase in incidents involving PV systems 5 years ago and now the worlds leading Fire Departments are using PVSTOP to improve fire fighter and community safety. We are proud to be world leaders in new technology safety!
