24.01.2022 Tylah Savage recently had the privilege to complete his year ten work experience with PWR (Paul Weel Radiators) who are a local ASX company. The main purpose of... this experience was to get up close to the CNC machines (computer numerical control) and to look at machine control and programming as a vocational pathway. PWR are world leaders in vehicle cooling and it was exciting to see the extensive range of aluminium products built on site that cater for the after market industry and original equipment on many new cars. In motorsport PWR cooling components are common, but in the higher echelons the use of their product becomes almost exclusive. This is because they have gone beyond just being a manufacturer to also operating a large research facility even with a wind tunnel. For Tylah, this was extra exciting that he got to look at, touch and have explanations about PWR parts that are likely to be on the fastest cars in this years in Formula One racecars. From Tylah, his teachers and UCSC we truely thank the PWR team and a special mention to shop manager/tour guide Mick Cullen. Youve given us something to aim for.

24.01.2022 Position available: Production Hand The available positions will cover component preparation and assembly tasks for high end specification products. This is a hands-on role where you will be preparing and assembling parts to build radiators and oil coolers. People with TIG Welding experience, sheet metal or mechanical background at hobby or professional level will adapt easily. 19.01.2022 PWR held a Farmer Friday Fundraising event to raise much needed funds for Australian farmers suffering in this heart stricken drought. Like last year all employees passionately got involved by dressing up and digging deep to help out. Special thanks to Gotzinger Small Goods who donated some meat towards the raffles.
