08.01.2022 Did you know that your skate bearings should be cleaned at least once a year? When I played Roller Derby I cleaned my wheels and bearings before every game. I've never had to buy new bearings except for when I bought new wheels and wanted to leave the bearings in the old ones. Its a fact that if you look after your skates and the smaller components of them, they can last your lifetime! Clean bearings feel just like new bearings, remember that smooth gliding feeling? THIS THUR...SDAY as part of Active Sk8 Skills class, we are running a bearing-cleaning workshop. For just $5, bring your skates and I will teach you how to clean your bearings!! I will also supply the things you will need to keep cleaning your bearings in the future for just $15! Bookings for the workshop are not essential< However if you intend to skate in the class also you will need to book. 01.01.2022 Lots of fun was had at our Halloween Disco last night!! Prizes were awarded to best costumes and there were tricks and treats to be found!! I hope you made it!! Sorry I can’t tag everyone in the pics, and sorry we couldn’t snap pics of all of you-too much going on!... The live streamed audio was fantastic and LOUD, the glow sticks were glowing and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!!! Thankyou Port Macquarie!
