04.01.2022 PYALONG NETBALL CLUB Dear Parents and Guardians, The Pyalong Netball club committee hope that you are all safe and well, and enjoying the freedom of easing restrictions due to the Covid 19 pandemic. We understand that these are very trying times for everyone and that like us, many of you are unsure of what the netball season will bring. ... The Pyalong netball club plays within the KBNA, and we are led by Netball Victoria’s decisions regarding a return to play. No information has been released by the Pyalong netball club prior to this, as we had not received any relevant information to pass on. A league meeting was held on June 9th and a decision was voted on by all the clubs that if Netball Victoria releases information prior to June 26th a season starting date will be no later than July 18th. If we have not received any information from Netball Victoria our 2020 season will be cancelled as of June 23th. More information will be passed on after the next KBNA meeting, which is scheduled to be held on June 23rd. There is absolutely no obligation for your child/ren to participate in the season if either they or you are uncomfortable doing so. If this is the case we ask that you let a committee member of the Pyalong netball club know ASAP. This will give us an indication of team structures if a season is allowed. Before any training could resume if a season was to go ahead, parents are required to read the Netball Victoria guidelines on returning to play, and adhere to the guidelines and checklists. These are found on the Netball Vic web site. Failure to do so will result in you being asked to leave the netball grounds. These guidelines are a requirement from Netball Vic and the Victorian government, and are in place to insure everyone’s safety is our number one priority. Please let myself or a committee member know if you need a printed copy. We understand that this is a very frustrating situation and we appreciate your patience, we will have a definite result by 26th June.
